I'm a single mom of 3 bi racial children but are now adults. I so loved watching this show because I can somewhat relate to the single mom and her I think was the strict parenting style. At 13, my mom committed suicide, at 17 my dad died from cancer. I was sent to Illinois to live with my eldest sister. I was abused as well as her kids. I made it through 5 years of college with an associate degree in data entry. My first child son at 22, my daughter at 25, and my youngest son at 28. And achieved my associates. Thanks for the love and support from family in Arkansas. I moved my kids back to Wisconsin, were I was from hoping a better life. It was for awhile until the people living in my apartment complex getting to involved in my business. I worked 2,-3 jobs. I wish I could have spent more time with them. I learned so much from all the parents and appreciate and thank them all,!!!
