Escape The BUGGED Jail Puzzle In Solo Warlord's Ruin - Into The Light [Destiny 2]

- The 9th April Into The Light update introduced a game-breaking bug to the Warlord's Ruin dungeon that prevents completion when solo. While running it solo, after the first boss when you get teleported to the prison a door between the cells that is usually open is now blocked off - preventing access to all of the wheels needed to escape.
Here I show you exactly where to stand and aim to be able to bounce Fighting Lion grenades to hit the wheels that are normally out of reach, to be able to continue solo runs and complete the dungeon. Glissando and Retrofit Escapade also help here to be able to see the outline of the furthest wheel and line up the shot.

I just came back to farm this encounter for a better version of the Indebted Kindness, and first time I entered the jail room I was so confused. I was thinking, "Pretty sure this door ain't supposed to be closed", and what do you know I was right. Now I just return to orbit so the engram goes to my postmaster. Yay, more load times.

Just came in here to say you saved my run. Unfortunately didn’t get flawless but got out of prison thanks to this video. Did find glissando and shoot the very far one if you go back into starting cell, hit box is very small.

PSA: you can do a finisher on the one mob in the jail to get out of jail and shoot the wheels, stay next to the jail cells so you don't get the "turn back" timer
I've tried this so many times and I just finish him and it has never pulled me out of the cell. But none of these things never work for me. Bungie just wants me to do things the hard way, so I do. FML 😂😂😂

Other alternative is use finisher on the ad to get out. Will give you joining allies but if you go to right it goes away and you can hit them all from there.

Dude huge help man. I just left my solo run because the damn door was closed lol.
meanwhile i was using explosive payload bryas love, and fusion nade for the one you had to angle fighting with the arch and bar. this looked so much easier than waiting for a fusion nade to active that one lmao thank you!

I couldn't get my shot lined up for the first one but umm I just shot it with the glysando and it worked. thanks for the vid when the dungeon first came out I kept losing on the second boss and gave up and then when I decided to give it another try today the jail was broken.

I found it easiest to hit either the chair or grim reaper finisher on the scorn, in that corner you are at 01:02, it'll pull you into the walkway, then you can walk around and shoot all 6 of the mechanisms.
Tip: do the wheel/s you can't see FIRST so that you can use sound as a indication of a successful activation

I will never understand how a completely unrelated update can mess up a dungeon so bad. It has to be intentional
It's so bizarre isn't it. After the Into The Light update people have also noticed strange changes in raids (the spot everyone uses for Solo Nezarec DPS had it's terrain collision changed so the spinning purple attacks now hit you). The theory is it's something tp do with the upcoming Pantheon mode

You can get Out, if you finish the enemie on the right side of the first prisoncell. You need to walk near around the cells or you'll get join allies

Playing this for the first time solo completely blind, and I have been running around for 30 minutes trying to figure out what to do. And when I finally give up and google, I find out it's a bug..

Using glycando but I can’t see the wheel
I can't hit the first one with fighting lion for my life holy shit
It takes some practice, remember that with special GLs if you hold the fire button down for a second when you shoot it, it will detonate when you release. So you need to judge when to let go after it goes through the bars. If you quickly click and release immediately then it will travel a set distance before exploding, which is probably too long. Same if you hold the fire button too long
If you have a mountaintop now you can use that

I think any special ammo GL should do it (except ones with sticky nades or maybe mountaintop) but then you might have ammo issues, that's why fighting lion is good, as it's primary ammo
Fun fact its NOT just in solo it happened in both my three man and duo run this weekend too it just doesnt matter as much lmao
Wait... Is that door normally open in duo and trio? I thought it was deliberately closed so you'd have to communicate with each other. This week was the first time I ran it in a group and was also surprised by it because I'd *only* run it solo before - then when I did a solo run after is when I realised it was a problem haha

I got this bug 5 times in a row. 😢. Went though all this to get wiped by second boss.
Yeah it seems like it happens every time, something changed with the Into The Light update. Hopefully they fix it soon

A much easier fix is to delete this garbage game
