- This is the iBUYPOWER TraceMesh 7 Gaming Desktop I picked up at Costco today. It has the 14th Gen Intel Core i7, and GeForce RTX 4060. I got tired of running out of space so quickly with my 256 GB Mac Mini.
Here's a link to the PC at Costco (I have no affiliation with Costco)-

I'll be adding a second 2 TB M.2 drive for games, and a larger 8 TB HDD for video files in a future video.

The monitor I'm using is the Asus ProArt 27" 1440p 144 Hz. It's color accurate and has a decently fast refresh rate for gaming amzn.to/4az5VUa
The keyboard and mouse I use.

Thanks for watching, and a big thanks for the support from my 42 subscribers! Keep having fun, your way!
This iBuypower gaming pc is currently on sale for $200 off. $1,099 until 6/12/24.
LOL, 102 subscribers, “small” is an understatement. You go Arty. Actually not a horrible PC.
It's pretty decent, I could have built something better, but not at this price. Thanks for watching!
Did the same thing a week ago, am very happy
Right. I think it's the best solution. Thanks for watching!
I’d recommend a new M.2 NvME if you can get one. The ADATA ones are known to fail sometimes. Other than that, awesome find and keep it up!
Oh jeez, thanks for the heads up! Looks like we'll have a upcoming video on drive cloning and M.2 replacement!
i SUBSCRIBED JEFF!!1 KEEP IT UP YOU GOT THIS! YOU'RE FUN TO WATCH! i mean this seriously.
Thanks George! I just have fun making the videos, and talking about things I like. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
That thing looks really nice, great find!
I'm liking it so far. Thanks for watching!
Looks very nice! It sucks to lose GarageBand and iMovie but I think you’ll like Windows more overall.
It does for sure. Thanks for watching!
Great pc! That 4060 will work really well for hardware acceleration and rendering. 14700f will be very strong for editing as well.
Since I no longer have iMovie, I've been testing several different free editing software progams. So far it's been doing just fine. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations 🎉! Nice PC! All RGB stuff! ❤
Gotta have the bling! Thanks for watching!
great video and great pc ! continue like that
Thanks, will do!
That is a good pc! With that case it have more room for upgrades
That's exactly right! Thanks for watching!
The 71st subscriber keep it going ! and congrats for the new PC
Thank you Sameer! The PC has been really nice!
Damn that Mac books memory space is almost enough to download Call of Duty now days!😂 Dig the vid by the way!🫡 New rig is pretty awesome.
I have flash drives with more storage, lol. Thanks for watching!
I Subscribed you're really underrated, good vid!
Thanks for the kind words!
Love your videos! Keep it up!
Thanks for the kind words!
That's sick man keep up the vids
Thanks for watching!
Great hardware and compact package, you can even stick a 3.5 inch 8TB+ harddrive and never worry about storage
I actually did that in a more recent video. 2 TB SSD, and a 8 TB HDD. I forgot how much slower physical HDD's were, lol. I guess it's fine for a storage drive! Thanks for watching!
I would turn down the fans in the bios for light loads
That's a great idea. They are surprisingly quiet, but I did notice they can be heard on camera. I'm going to go into bios and fix that. Thanks!
That looks like a nice rig.
Pretty good right? Thanks for watching!
Just subscribed! What do you plan to do with the old Mac Mini? Also, if you feel up to it, you should experiment with dual booting a Linux distro like Pop OS, Ubuntu, or Linux Mint! It could be interesting to see how your workflow varies across the big 3 operating systems. Enjoy the sweet new computer ❤️
It's being used in another room in the house. I do like Linux, so that would be interesting. Thanks!
Nice choice
Thanks!
sweet rig man what year is that macmini non upgradable storage I guess ?
I think it’s the newest one? It’s the base model M2 with 256 gb storage. It was great when I just edited a video now and again. Thanks for watching!
W video, btw I also have small PC
Thanks for watching!
What made you replace the M2 Mac? Those M2 chips are great
Yeah, if you want to waste thousands of dollars more for little to no performance increase.
I was constantly having to transfer my video files off the Mac due to the very limited 256gb of storage, and thought there must be a better way. The M2 is fantastic, and I will still be using it, just in a different role now. Thanks for watching!
i have to mention something , your CPU is probablyworking 20-30% less efficient and less powerful. i noticed that the CPU requires at least 4 more connectors from the PSU (8 + 4)
you should connect the PSU cable to the extra 4 pins so ur CPU will actualy run better and more powerful.
That's not good. I'll have to check that! Thanks for the info.
cool stuff!!
Thanks for watching!
💪😃
Thanks for watching 🤗
Does it have a glass outer cover on the left side?
Yes, looking from the front, there's a glass panel on the left. Thanks for watching!
Too bad you got an “F” sku cpu instead of a “K” sku. You need an igpu for accelerated graphics and timeline scrubbing.
I had a feeling there was something with that "F" sku, now I know. Thanks!
@@JeffsWay.don’t worry, you’ve got a dedicated GPU (your RTX 4060), so you don’t have any need for an integrated GPU, like what would be in a 14700 or a 14700k. This is a beast of a computer! Enjoy the huge performance bump 😊
@@isaacstoltz389 So far it's doing great, I can't complain. Thanks!
@@isaacstoltz389 igpu can help in some programs like premier but not by much
nooooo!!! Arty!!! dont buy prebuilt! buy a custom pc instead and build it yourself!
I priced out building a mid range gaming PC with a i5 and RTX 4060, and my parts estimate was $1,400 without Windows. This was $1,300 with the more expensive i7, and Windows already installed. Of coarse I know they are going to cut corners wherever possible, motherboard, and power supply just to name a couple. It's going to be used primarily used for video editing, with the occasional game, for that it should be fine.
@@JeffsWay. im a professional pc hardware guy!!! i can make a list based on your needs!
@@bs9two4 I appreciate the offer, thank you!
@@JeffsWay. no problem
thats a sweet computer you bought, jeff!
i like the preinstalled rgb fans to keep everything cool 🥶🥶
