Upgrade from 2 x 4 GB RAM = 8 GB RAM to a single 8GB stick???

Hey! I changed only one 4gb ram stick into an 8gb check the video it literally says 12gb ram when I open it!
@@TechRehab-TRB now you have to do it all over again, because you should't mix different sizes, why did you not just put two 8gb sticks in, or even two 32gb.
@@PathfindersdomainNo you can use different size ram sticks on Mac they just have to be the same speed and I used same speed sticks (2666mhz)
@@TechRehab-TRByes you can use assymetric memory configuration but it cost you some memory speed degredation. For the best memory speed both channel must have ram modules matched in speed AND size. Also saying you make a “beast” with this ram upgrade… really? 12 gig assymetric ram configuration and i5.. This system is just as far from being a beast as before the ram upgrade.
@@MaverickM1 You are right about the ram but trust me compared to similar priced macs it is a great machine and yea it’s still more room to update so I guess it’s not still a complete “beast”

Hey , Firstly who told you a I am a Mac lover I just bought it because of the price and some office work secondly I it upgrades up to 64gigs and if you sit and check you will find out that for the price this (bottlenecked) pc it’s pretty powerful and also what’s the problem on doing ram upgrades on your pc why does it sound so weird to you??
You know you can upgrade It to 64gig ram it will cost around 130 UK pounds which is brilliant I say!
