I'm just an amateur, I don't want to carry an Amp and I also prefer the digital pedals (since they're not that expensive compared to a real one). Do you have any recommendations? The iRig stomp looks and seems to work so good that I might grab it tomorrow at the Apple Store, thanks!
The iRig Guitar link at the end of the video seems to link off the the iRig MIDI review. Just so you know. How is the noise/feedback on this? Because the original base model iRig had quite a lot of constant noise, plus feedback issues if the output volume was too high.

mind me asking since i am a macbook pro owner, i don't have an iPad. I purchased the Irig adapter but seems i can only use it on my iPhone since it won't work on my macbook. Plus, the Irig software that you get and is free is very limited. Please tell me what i am missing.
Get AdBlock Plus, it's a free plugin for your browser (firefox, chrome, whatever). It not only blocks all popups and banners, but also blocks the ads before youtube videos.
Listen - starting to get a little annoyed with these ads before your videos..........especially the ads you can't skip. I'm interested in your content - not all this other forced commercial crap........Sorry.

I don't have IRig stomp yet but I tried using AmpliTube with my Orange Micro Terror and it's pretty amazing.

I used Amplitube for recording some of my bands guitar, vocal, and key stuffs. If used properly, it's impossible to tell the difference.

what is the distracting noise in the background? you need to frame your video where your face is not so much "in the face" of the viewer.
