    Jamal Adams may have been hurt on that play, but it still doesn’t change the fact that he was avoiding contact on purpose. Maybe the word scared is a little too harsh. Sorry about that.

      That and most of those plays are from the time where they still played tackle football and the DB could blow you the F up and not only not get flagged but make the highlight show on ESPN. That said, you gotta catch the ball.

      @@ssj4gogeta77 nah it got safer from CTE but it’s not safer from any knee hip or even leg injuries. A lot of players would rather get a concussion and be out for a game or 2 then be out from a whole season from a acl injury.

      Yeah, wide view it kind of looked like he was reading the play the whole time too, which is why he held back, didn't think Brown would hurdle then realized at the last second but couldn't stop the play (moves his head in like he's trying to, but backs out bc it would've just been his head getting hit?)

    I'll always remember that Todd Pinkston play...err, non-play. He was so spooked of Ryan Clark he folded himself up like an accordion. Some people just aren't tough enough to be playing in the NFL!

    I remember a couple of times as a receiver every time I ran a slant route in practice I would go head to head with this one linebacker, but I was always more afraid to stop moving for some reason. If you think about it, you got a higher chance of just getting smashed if you stop moving and that defenders doesn't.

    I'd be interested in seeing plays that ended on the 50 yard line at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarters, so the ball just gets turned around and teams just move to the other side of the ball. I wonder how difficult those plays would be to find.

    Do a "Taking the angle" plays. Chase downs where the guys picks a great angle. 3 examples: Jordan Dangerfield vs the Cowboys this year, Mario Addison in Super Bowl 50, the Larry Allen play.
