That beard took a considerable time to grow; something like that doesn't happen in just a week. It's something he grew over a long period of time, something he cultivated-a symbol of his past life. He's cutting it off as a way to start anew, and separate himself from the burdens of his past. A rebirth in a way. Like when someone moves far away from their old home to start a new life somewhere else and leave the grief the old home contains. It had to have a very jarring but liberating experience for him.

Wow...I haven't been on my maps and atlases tip in a while...lastnight im thinking what he would look like without a beard then td I come to listen to ther music and its this video ive never seen....I kno the song but didnt kno it had a vid and its 2 years old...I guess im a shitty fan...I remember backkk in the day they didnt sing it was instrumental.
Caught their show in Lakewood, OH a few months ago. Great live performance. Loved every second of it, which was really impressive seeing as they had to follow up Narrow/Arrow who were a surprise from left field who absolutely blew my mind.
