Seriously if hamiltom charged more for proper AR coating and screw down, this would attract a lot more people
Seriously. At the very least give me the screw down crown.
That 38 looks perfect, and I love the shade of blue on both. From the looks on your wrist, I might guess that you'd want at least a seven-inch measurement for the 42. And I agree about the titanium bracelet-I didn't even think about how they might look with a NATO or leather strap until you mentioned it. The titanium complements it well.
Man, this is awesome! Glad they made a bracelet for it too.
Looks like I’ll be getting that 38mm version myself. Looks fantastic.
Good to see those bracelet don't have line in centre like old khaki bracelet.
I thought the same thing.
Love the Ti bracelet on the field watch... looking good. Hamilton is making it hard for me to not buy new watches because i'm saving for more expensive models...
Beauties. I have a khaki field auto but no titanium watches, the 38 may be my first.
Gonna have to get my hands on one of these see it in person... most likely will be adding to the collection. I don't know why they could'nt make one of these in brushed stainless steel no polish I'll wait and see... its almost criminal not having this watch in brushed stainless steel no polish 😂
bracelet, wear it any time any place. titanium, lw and wears downsided. field, good for any situation and for quick glances. all around win.
they need a 40mm version! the difference between 38 and 42 is huge
🙄🙄🙄
Youre crazy
no they dont , stop with the tiny watch size push
What? Lol
Beautiful watches, if only it had an AR coating i would be all over this!!
omg
That is a dumb reason for not buying a watch, stop being a follower And just repeating what other people say, think for yourself
@@bdegrds clearly I've offended you, but your comment is nonsensical & im guessing you don't have much experience with AR coatings.
Not having an AR coating is a legit reason not to want a watch, have you even watched the video? The legibility of a watch should be one of the most important design aspects, you can clearly see how bad the reflection is in this video.
I'm happy for you if you don't mind the glare, but the only person here being dumb is you for chastising someone who has a different opinion than yourself.
I hope they sell the bracelet separately! I have the far cry 6 edition of this watch and would love the titanium bracelet to put on it!
I just ordered one for a customer. If interested in ordering one email me, brad@brentlmiller.com
Ordered the blue 38mm today
Congrats, enjoy it!
What do you think? I got mine a few days ago. Its a great watch, but I was expecting it to be bluer. Its a nice blue, but this video is deceiving with the lighting.
They look good Brad, I'd be interested to find out more about the movements though. They're an excellent price, so where is the money being saved?...
Yeah, not too excited that we keep seeing 3 Hz in titanium. Other brands have done this too. It's an H10 movement.
To answer your question, I'd say 3 things: Push-pull crown, no AR coating (or if it's there, it's ineffective), and no on-the-fly micro-adjust. I'd pay 30-40% more for a version that fixed those 3 nitpicks as the watch would be near perfect for the price.
@@justthisguyyouknow42 Excellent points Mr Just, but the extra price envisioned puts you dangerously close to Longines and Tudor models, not to mention the Seiko ProSpex line... Have a good week.🙂
@@justthisguyyouknow42that's why I got a Longines spirit.
Good measurements Brent, those of us in the know are able to get a much better idea how the watch will wear with crystal and l2l measurements
Have these new models AR-coating on them? Lack of coating on older Hamiltons is somewhat of a bummer
Good question. It's not specifically listed, but from memory the glare wasn't as bad as some others while videoing. Will have to inquire.
new ?
Siicccckkkkkkkk 💙💙💙💙💙💙
Great on the 38! Not a big fan of the castrated 2824-2. 3 hertz I can get from Seiko. Fine vid. Thanks
Sure…You can get 3hz from Seiko, but one thing you won’t get is accuracy. I own multiple 6R35 Seikos and a 38mm Khaki field auto. The Khaki runs anywhere from zero to +2 sec/day. The Seikos all consistently run in the -15 to -25 range.
I love my Seikos, but the movement quality is pure, grade A shit.
If they only released a 40mm. The 38 is a bit too small for me, but the lug to lug on the 42 is insanely long.
Dont touch the 38mm😅
I don’t get why the smaller case is thicker. Doesn’t make sense to me
1100 USD+ for these? Hamilton have lost their minds. I picked up a Grade 5 titanium cased (with 1000 Vickers coating), SW-360 Elabore grade movement equipped, 16 layers of A/R coated, X1 Super Luminova lumed, original Art Deco inspired dial design (with free personal engraving on caseback) beauty for less than $600 at launch last December from US based microbrand Axia. These major brands have to do better.
It scratches extremely easily… It needs a hardened coating or something as you can find on some titanium watches… Grade 5 titanium doesn’t scratch, but you won’t find it at this price point… It’s a big drawback in my opinion and everyone should understand just how easily titanium scratches
$1,100 for a Hamilton Khaki with a downgraded movement???
They've got to be kidding
Titanium.
@@KyleDavisMusic Nothing special about titanium. Several companies make $100 watches from titanium.
@@scottparis6355no one makes complete titanium with bracelet for 100 bucks
Plastic escapement? un-serviceable
Too thick
I can never think that the 38 is anything other than a woman's watch. Even with smaller wrists, males should opt for the 42. Granted, it's all preference, but men should prefer a man-sized watch. If there are two sizes, the smaller one is for girls. :-)
Completely disagree. Not every man wants a saucer on his wrist, myself included. You're welcome to your opinion but why do you care what size anyone picks?
Not everyone is a huge gorilla
You’re not very smart. You’re not business savvy.
Sell it to people with big wrists and small wrists, what do you get? PROFIT!
There ware men with small wrists. It’s genetic, you can’t blame them.
It’s not about gender and sizing.
