    Eating on the floor is a very powerful experience. It develops focus on the food & overall concentration. No TV no other source of distraction. I’ve tried this practice on various occasions & it has greater relationship with your food. There is a reason why in Gurdwara Sahibs we eat sitting on the floors. This is not just exclusive to Sikhi but generally I believe across Asia going back before to ancient times.

    Amazing! The thing that i like about the past few videos is that they are covering topics as if they are living with us and we are getting guided step by step how to see the world.
    Appreciate it.

      Once you start to pray and fall in love with God, all you want to do is praise them and fall more in love, I hope we all can experience that one day and not see paath as something just to do 🙏🏽🙏🏽

      In Sikhi we say 'Durkee bani' which means it came from God themselves. So reading prayer from God is definitely going to connect you back to the one, so there is a definite benefit.
      When making your own prayers or supplications to God, this can be more informal and maybe increase your love and connection which is a brilliant thing, but you don't have the assurance that you get from the beautiful gift from God that is Gurbani 🙏🏽🙏🏽

    • @jappnaamkaur5715
      @jappnaamkaur5715 Месяц назад +5

      Of course you can, Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj teaches us/ tells us that anyone of any race, height, shape, colour, etc can recite Gurbani. You will never be stopped from reciting the truth, because Gurbani and the recitation of it in this manuka janam is what will be read out in his darbar. But I will encourage to stop cutting your kes eventually when you are ready, because guru gobind singh Maharaj says, ehai moor agiya suno le pyaree, bina deg kesang devo na dedare. He is telling us that he will not give us darshan and meet us if we do not have our weapons/sashter and kes/hair. And do not stress if your hair is not uncut from birth, once you realise the importance and STOP cutting it, Maharaj becomes so delighted with you. Hope this helps.

      TU DAATA DAATAAR TERA DITTA KAAVANA, BHAGAT JANA KE SANG PAAP GAVAAVANA
      You are The Giver, What You provide me with I eat. In the company of the Bhagats sins are erased. (My rough understanding).
      That is the pangti I normally recite before eating.
