here me out, we solve the "too many robins" problem by making Dick already Nightwing and Jason dead, Tim is Robin, Damian comes in and "steals Robin from Tim and Tim leaves or he's already gone to be with the titans or OG Young Justice team. Then we have Tim get to develop as a character in a Teen Titans/YJ Movie/TV where the team was either already established Dick and Co. or is founded by Tim and the 2nd generation team (Bart, Cassie etc.) who the show would focus on. Maybe they do something like the YJ cartoon where they find Conner as a clone or something like the OG comics with all their crazy dimension traveling stuff. IDK I'm just so nostalgic for the 90s team and would love to see them reimagined.
I know some folks think Hawkgirl is replacing Swift in The Authority... I'm also not sold on direct sequels. I have a feeling we could get Superman: Legacy and then Superman vs The Authority and then a World's Finest, but they wouldn't be direct sequels.
Really appreciate you discussing my comment! Yeah I'm fairly confident that Gunn will be exploring Legacy both ways, in that Superman is taking from the legacy of previous old-school heroes and ideals (the JSA) while also establishing his own by changing the direction of the modern heroes, with the Justice League directly inspired by them and overtaking the more edgy heroes like the Authority. Essentially it'll be a battle for the soul of heroism and the world. I'm really hoping we get a JSA film sooner than later too. It's a perfect prequel to Superman: Legacy and a lead up to Justice League.
As for how long he's been around, yeah I think MoS and the DCEU in general already covering a very fresh Superman is also a good reason why 5-ish years or starting from soon-ish after college sounds plausible to make this distinct. He'd still be young and not a veteran but not a completely unestablished novice. It seems pretty balanced to me.
Am I the only one who thinks a small, peacemaker level TV show introducing the Justice Society into this new DCU would be cool? Like an original Green Lantern with the campy, comic book suit would be amazing, or Jay Garrick as the flash being the inspiration for Barry Allen, introducing Wonder Woman after Paradise Lost, ect. Obviously I have no say in how this new universe will be formed but I cannot be the only one who thinks that that would be pretty cool.

Jensithari’s theory is very interesting cause I like to think that maybe when Superman Legacy is starting out that Clark will see those teams & be happy to know he’s not the only one doing the saving all the time. Then leads to him forming the Justice League. Ofc once he gets to know these characters we’ll see in Chapter 1
The first Superman movie could be set in the 1950s or 1960s, concluding with an end-credit scene showing Superman being unexpectedly taken through a portal by the interstellar bounty hunter Lobo. This intriguing twist leads to the second movie, set on the exotic world of Warworld.
In this revised timeline, we introduce Wonder Woman as Superman's love interest in the DCU, while Lois Lane serves as his first love interest in the 1950s or 1960s. The third movie could feature a time jump to the present day in the timeline, around 202X, when Superman returns to Earth, further exploring his relationship with Wonder Woman and the challenges of adapting to the modern world. This fresh narrative approach could bring a new dimension to the Superman storyline.

Well, for Hawkgirl. The reason why most people are certain Isabela is Kendra Saunders is because all the official posts about Hawkgirl have referred to Kendra, even the official image used in the Vanity Fair report is Kendra which Gunn also reposted. Kendra has been the Hawkgirl in the comics for decades now since her introduction in 1999. Also, Kendra in the comics is Latina like Isabela. And she's a legacy in the sense that the first Hawkgirl, Shiera, is her grand aunt. So yes, she is both the grand niece and reincarnation of Shiera who was the Hawkgirl of the JSA during the 40s and is currently dead 'cause she has to be for Kendra to exist. Shayera Hol, however goes by Hawkwoman and she is the Thanagarian alien. She went by Hawkgirl in the JLU animated series for some reason and that is the source of a lot of misconception and confusion amongst non comic book readers (that show mostly butchered the Hawks lore). Lastly, to simplify, Shiera was Hawkgirl, she died and her soul split into two (Shayera Thal/Hol and Kendra Saunders) and they both exist alongside each other 'cause the reincarnation cycle is not linear and they reincarnate across time and space
This is as best as I can simplify. The Hawks lore is not complicated. it's just dense and requires actual reading

That’s my thing with James Gunn DCU If u go Damian Wayne Robin you skip so many stories and important moments with the other robins then you have a bunch of projects that takes place in the past
So for the age of Batman and thus consequent ages for his batfamily members, from across the comics there have been so many Batman origins and changes to his origins and changes to when he started doing what that it's hard to pin down how old Batman could or should be by the time Damian comes around. That said, I think the following age range kinda works with the logic I provide.
To start let's look at how long each (and I'm gonna stick with Robins here) character takes to train to give us a baseline of how the age range might look.
- Batman training: Usually consistent about 7 years traveling the world and learning the various things he needs to know to be a successful Batman. So 7 years before he becomes Batman in Year 1
- Dick Grayson: Batman would have taken his training and condensed it into a better format and add to that nights on patrol to give a more hands-on training approach. Dick Grayson, to give credence to his very long comic history, should have the most time as Robin under his belt. We can also say that we want him in his twenties by the time he's introduced as Nightwing so let's say his parents die when he's around 14. So let's say Dick spends 4-5 years as Robin starting in Year 3 of Batman. I say Year 3 because this version of Batman needs to be both not an old man and also have spent some time trying to be a father and not being very good at it by the time Damian rolls around. So 4-5 years for Dick starting in Year 3 for Batman.
- Jason Todd: After Dick has his blowout with Batman and leaves to become Nightwing, Jason Todd replaces him. Let's keep the starting age consistent for Robins and say Jason is 14 when he tries to steal Batman's tires. By this point, Batman would believe he's got the training part down and so would condense the training even further. Add to that Jason's personality and "gotta go get 'em" attitude which gives Batman more reason to put Jason in the field too soon. So let's say that Jason only gets 1.5 or 2 years as Robin before getting clocked by Joker. Also, Batman doesn't seem to waste much time replacing Dick so we'll call it less than a year since Dick left before Jason comes into the picture. With all of that, let's say 1.5-2 years for Jason as Robin starting in Year 8 for Batman.
- Tim Drake: After Jason's "death", Batman would need time to fall into his own darkness before Tim Drake decides Batman needs a Robin and he deduces Batman's identity. Let's say he waits until 2 years after Jason dies before he tries to take up the mantle but this timeframe can be adjusted easily cause Batman is pretty self-destructive by nature and so might fall closer to villainy faster than most. But for now, about 2 years. Tim will also start at 14. Tim has a great aptitude for most of the training, but Batman would still be keeping him on the bench for it so let's say Tim only gets about 2-3 years as Robin and is still Robin when Damian comes around. So 2-3 years starting in Year 12 for Batman.
- This gives us the first 15 years of Batman for the DCU, something I think would be touched on, but not shown really since it's a lot of ground to cover for just a handful of characters.
Now on to how old Bruce and the gang could be given this information.
Based on what I understand from comics, the ages Bruce leaves to begin his training vary greatly but seems to land the beginning of his journey somewhere between the ages of 14-21 so let's use that age range. 7 years of training plus 15 years as Batman gives us 22 years total. 14+22=36 / 21+22=43. Reminder that this math is very loose and subject to a lot of change, but I think it's not unreasonable for Batman to meet Damian somewhere between the ages of 33 and 40.
So
- Bruce Wayne: 36-43 years old
- Dick Grayson: 19 when he quits Batman in Year 8 + 4 to reach Year 12 = 23ish, but probably a little older if changes are made.
- Jason Todd: 15-16 when he "dies" in Year 10 + 5 to reach the present = 20-21ish, but would probably be easy to make different given that he spends time being actively dead.
- Tim Drake: 14 when he starts + 2-3 years to reach the present = 16-17 and still Robin.
- If we want an age for Damian, Bruce has been doing Batman related things for 22 years. If you want Damian to be on the younger side (given that I don't really want actual children exposed to the world of Batman's rogues nor a bad child actor to play the character) we can say the youngest is about 11 when he's handed over to Bruce giving him a slight superiority to the other Robins who all started 3 years older than him. But that means Bruce ran into the League more than 11 years ago (to give time for proper relationships to develop between him and Ras and him and Talia) so in Year 4.
I think all of this logic works to give a realistic timeline and age range for each of the main Robins and Batman in the present day of the DCU at Brave and the Bold. To sum up again:
- Bruce: 36-43
- Dick: 23ish, but probably older
- Jason: 20-21ish but might look younger because dead
- Tim: 16-17 and still Robin
- Damian: 11

i really hope they have jason todd in this universe. and a red hood story would serve as a good sequel. he will probably be dead by the time brave and the bold takes place, but that doesn’t mean we won’t get any flash back scenes for his robin if they adapt the under the red hood story

I think they should have dick as nightwing, and the only other active vatfamily member, Barba Gordon as orical (but not paralyzed) Jason being dead and Tim at college. Then you could have Barbra become Batgirl again at some point, Jason could be the villain if the 2nd batman movie and tim can lead the titians

I wonder if where we are starting with Damian as Robin meanwhile Clark and Lois haven’t even had Jon means the chances of a supersons movie is shot in it’s tracks.
I know they’ve done a lot with Jon to make him fit into the comics without Clark being a father for ten years. I’m pretty sure the initial story was there being two supermans for a bit, a much older one and a younger one - which probably has been retconned (I also may have remembered this wrong and it was an older one that replaced the other). I also know they are prone to aging Jon up but that kind of beats one of the better parts of the supersons: one was a kid who didn’t have a childhood and doesn’t know how to have fun, the other being a naive kid whose not been wronged by the world.
So unless they were open to introduce him using a multiverse (which is way too early for), the chances are pretty much gone considering time travel wouldn’t really fit since we’d just be forcing younger Clark to be a father - which they shouldn’t do.
So assuming Brave and the Bold follows right up against superman legacy and they decide to have Jon then and it’s an assumption Damian gets there at 9 then that means Damian will be roughly 20 when Jon is ready to be superboy. (They also definitely won’t have Jon at the end of superman legacy)
Meaning we won’t have an organic supersons and no matter it’ll be forced and would have to push goalposts to get there. This is another L for the supersons fans after Jon being aged up
I also think it make sense why they wouldn’t - they might not think the title will sell, considering things like people wondering if the trinity will do that.
It’d also be a bit of a bad decision considering how different current Jon in the comics would be to this - people would be looking for superboy when the character is in the comics superman.
It’s also potentially that they aren’t sure how Jon can be taken in other media, he’s been in a few animated things but never anything big outside of a goofball supersons movie considering how superman & Lois done the children very differently and wouldn’t want to start with mainstream movies.
I just think it’s a missed opportunity and hope where they aren’t doing anything with him potentially an elseworld thing - I’d definitely take this in place of a Batman beyond movie considering how we already have two in the movie world going on

If Gadot is a part of this, maybe the more experienced version of her character brings everyone together as needed. She becomes the glue and leader.

That year 3 part def makes sense. He should stay fresh. That "How things use to be.." is interesting to me. Where through the movie u see hints of a time. Where heroes did united. And something happened that made them split up. Could possibly include a jla mortal type of idea. Where the last flash sacrificed himself to take whatever huge threat with the jsa to take out a huge threat. Then that made them split up. Along with other lives lost. I would love to see a scene where wonder woman, supes, and Batman find some underground place where the jsa use to be meet up. Or even find a ancient justice league where they fought against the anti monitor or something. Lastly if I were them. I would make mongul the big bad. Kinda use the bible too. Where in ancient times he came down and taught men many things. And really left a huge influence on earth. Where u see signs of what he is through out. In mongul's ship he makes people fight each other. I would make mongul like a nephilim. The size and everything. Kinda be a part of the beginning of mankind. Heck I would include he'l from krypton be the first Kryptonian before Clark back in the ancient times. As Clark sees paintings of a flying man.

I think the movies will feed into each other like the early DCEU but the more obvious "sequels" (ex: legacy 2) will be reserved for chapter 2.
Chapter 1: call. Chapter 2: response.
I also think the "lame" heroes(nice) 🆚 "cool" heroes (edgy/mean) will be a subplot of chapter one.
I think the authority will be the world's _premier_ (A-list) superhero team until the lame ones band together and kick them out of town so to speak

Maybe something like Superman The Man of Steel & Superman Man of Tomorrow as thee next 2 movies. Or as I mentioned a number of times already, a proper comic book accurate Death of Superman Trilogy, like The Death of Superman, then the Reign of the Superman and Superman Is Back, since they already used Superman Returns. If they choose to go with that and could do a true adaption trilogy, I'd go with each one picks up right where last one leaves off. Like how Star Trek III picks right up where Star Trek II ended, and like how Star Trek IV picks right up where Star Trek III ended. So one continuous story but broken up into 3 movies, so basically a beginning, middle and end.
One Punch Man the Manga Anime has a Unique World Building Universe where all the Characters seem Inter Connected by a Common Theme and that Different Cities have Different Protectors that Respond to Varying Degrees of Threat Levels, THe DC Characters all seem Disconnected (as side from the Batman Universe Characters). I'd like to see some Interconnection to these DC Universe Characters t make the Storyline seem more Coherent!

In the post crisis comics Clark was inspired by a hero named Iron Munro, It would be cool to see that worked in to the film.
I think legacy means exactly what you said I think the JSA will be prominent in the dcu and our justice league will take up the mantle while the JSA acts more like mentors, I know it won’t happen but I hope they bring back pierce brosnans doctor fate ❤ that was the best part of the black Adam movie

I think having the entire (og) Batman Inc family would make a lot of sense money wise for the studio. If BATB is about Damian that leaves plenty of other storylines to be delved deeper into in oncoming projects per say some of the 20 unannounced with one of the biggest brands in the superhero industry. Full on Tim drake gets replaced, becomes Red Robin..Under the Red Hood arc…maybe even Death in the Family years down the line with plenty of cowl contenders
Thanks for the video! It’s hard to have the whole bat family when there’s so many members nowadays but I would definitely love to see a Red Hood adaptation down the road! Curran Walters did a phenomenal job as Hood and had great parts but I’d like a proper story this time. DC Titans did not have a good lead up by any means so that’s something I think would be cool to see

Nah James Gunn loves Superman like in his heart of hearts he understands Superman just as well as any Superman Superfan so he is gonna do the character justice I doubt he’s gonna come out of left field and with a killer Superman 😂 highly doubtful he’s gonna be the Superman from the justice league animated series, tbh I feel like that was the absolute best interpretation of dc comic super hero’s ever

Here’s my idea for the Batfamily movie (I don’t know the chronology well, so this may not fit at all):
Robins
- Dick is on the precipice of becoming Nightwing
- Jason is in the middle of being trained.
- Damian is actually found out about at the beginning of the movie.
Batgirl
- Barbara is just the commisioners daughter and eventually goes out with Dick throughout the movie. Maybe a Batgirl tease in a post credits scene.
2nd movie - Death in the Family:
- Jason is taken by the joker and the movie ends with his murder.
-Dick is frustrated by how Bruce is handling the situation which leads him to becoming Nightwing.
- Damian is getting to the point in his training where he is over Bruce’s morals. Maybe he even leaves.
- Barbara is secretly Batgirl.
- Tim maybe briefly in the movie, but nothing big would happen with his character until the third.
I just feel like no casual audience member is going to know about Nightwing and we only introduce one new character at the start, Jason. Introducing Damian within the movie works because he is Bruce’s son, so that shouldn’t be hard to grasp. I think people would like to see Barbara become Batgirl.
Alternatively, Jason is already dead, but there is a death in the family flashback movie.
A lot of casual fans know Nightwing.

I love Superman but I'm a bigger Batman fan i just want to see a good close to comic accurate version that's shows he's the worlds greatest Detective and most dangerous man on earth plus they don't have to CGI the heck out of him to make him move like Daredevil lol but at least have him feel like MCU Captain America compared to regular people since he is peak human condition

What if Jason Todd is currently batmans robin, then Bruce's REAL son enters the picture and there is sort of this rivelry between Jason and Damien. I could see Jason being jealous of Damien for various reasons, but the main one being that he is getting more attention from Bruce (probably simply because Damien is just a few years younger and a new addition to the family). Then what if because batman's focus is elsewhere, Jason tries to do some things on his own, leading to his "death" by the hands of Joker.
I came up with this as I was writing it and I am absolutely in love with this idea. I think Dick could still be around as nightwing, maybe Barbara hasn't been robin but she is also around, and then Jason and Damien are BOTH Robin's in the brave and the Bold.
I see Jason as a bit more of a dirty, rebellious kid while Damien is much more clean, self-centered, and overall a bit smarter.
I don’t think even if Jason was still alive at 15/16 he’d stick around as Robin - his changing into Red Hood was catalysed by his death but I believe he’d still be an anti hero around that time as there where always signs when he was younger of his brutal nature, nevertheless Damian replacing him could be his catalysing moment - I mean I feel like the reason he hated Tim replacing him was he didn’t move on from being Robin on his own accord, I suppose if Damian done that before he was ready it’d lead to that reaction, but i don’t know

Also in the animated universe where it animated similar stories, Jason and Tim basically don’t exist

Why are people so obsessed with the age of these characters and how long they've been active?
Superman being in his early 30s and how long he's been active is wholly irrelevant unless it plays a role in the story. Superman could have been active for 10 years and has only been stopping robberies and saving cats from trees. We've seen early Superman enough by this point, it's time we get a more seasoned Superman and Gunn is obviously aiming for that.
Also, the ages of Bruce and Clark don't have to be similar because the DCAU versions of those characters were at least 8-10 years apart due to Dick Grayson's existence. If the most beloved and well known versions of these characters can have an age gap of about a decade, so can the DCU versions.
This is random, but I was thinking about how the ending of Superman Legacy would lead into the future of the DCU. I was imagining at the end of the film Superman is flying around the world, and he flies over a ton of the major DC cities. And we just get little teases of all these superheroes around the world. A few examples, over Gotham we see the bat signal. Over Central City/ Keystone City, we see streaks of lighting zooming around from the Birdseye view. Coast City, green streak flying. And Palmera City blue beetle flying around. Just showing how vast this world is from the beginning.
I don't think James Gunn needs to use the ending of the film to hype of the rest of the DCU heroes but it would definitely be an awesome way to end the film.

I want superman being 2-3 years into it. I wouldn’t be super happy with 5 years, but I trust James so maybe I don’t realize I want it. I feel like it would be dicey to have Lois and Clark already dating bc of the loss of tension and big moments that are lost. The authority is rumored to be a period piece, so that could play into superman shaking things up and their legacy. I’m overall just very curious what Gunn came up with based on how he says it’s very unique. Another rumored project is Superman v The Authority in the unannounced projects for chpt 1. I do think metamorpho will be against the superheroes bc it’s too cool to pass up an antagonist that can turn their powers on them. I’d love to see him come around as a hero at the end too.
Also rumored big bad will be The Centre for Chapter 1
I think it could be interesting for batman brave and the bold to have batman just lost jason todd a few months before the movie and the league of shadow take the oportunity to send damien to be the next robin as a spy while they bring back jason from the dead and for manipulate jason with the new robin(damien) for him to go in a rampage in gotham

Mannn I’m actually watching man of steel right now and I’m just here thinking that movie is still so damn fresh to me at least and a big chunk of me just doesn’t care or interested in what dc does with Superman. I think I feel that way because Man of Steel was as peak as you can get with Superman. After endgame I feel big ole worlds and team ups happening immediately doesn’t feel right because it took quite some years for that to happen with mcu then it kind of lost its magic. Plus I’ve never liked James Gunn style of super hero’s and didn’t like suicide squad one bit. DC is really going to have to prove themselves and I feel personally the best thing to do is to do single character movies for at least 5 years then get the ball rolling but then again I still think the Man of Steel movie is fresh in a lot of people and in turn people won’t have interest in what JG is doing

🧢🧢 Matt reeves has said multiple times that it would be interesting to bring in robin but part 2 is too soon, plus now that the DCU Batman is diving into the bat family so much I think Matt wouldn’t want to double dip and recycle stories that DCU bat might do. Also personally I don’t see Battinson having a robin don’t really feel like it’s his style

haven''t watch the video yet but i have a therory about Creature Commandos and Waller. so it was comfirmed that Waller would use a character from Creature Commandos. and Rick flag sr. is in Creature Commandos. so my theory is that at the end of Creature Commados Rick Flag sr. would figure out Waller was responsible for the death of his son and go after her in Waller that plus the fact that at the end of peacemaker task force x was exposed makes me think that Flag may get help from the goverment to take waller out since she''s been compromise (or whatever spyey word you want to use). this is just a crazy theory but I do think something like this will happen.

So that could be a factor in how old Superman is in his career too if Batman is 30ish, Superman should be younger.

I feel like skipping Tim is a major oversight of his potential to bring in younger audiences. I see him as a perpetual teenager who was designed for the exact purpose of relating to and engaging younger viewers, especially with his young justice and teen titans counterparts (Bart, Cassie, Superboy etc.). I just don't think Damian could ever fit into that group or marketing niche in the same same way and missing out on that group and everything they could bring to the DCU would really be such a bummer, especially since we've never really seen Tim or his group done "right" since the 90's and early 2000's.

i think superman will appear in his own solo movie superman legacy in 2025 and also likely could show up in some sort of cameo or even a major supporting role in the supergirl movie which probably will be released within the first year or two of this new DCU in 2026 or 2027 after superman legacy ushers in this DCU
batman will have his solo with the brave and the bold & wonder woman will have her prequel with paradise lost tv series on MAX which will likely lead into her new solo wonder woman movie with in all likelihood a new actress playing in the role as gadot like almost 95% of the DCEU castings will be replaced probably again within the first 2-3 years of this DCU slate
maybe have a world's finest or trinity movie too so all three of superman, batman, wonder woman can have a second or in the case of superman a third appearance before imo a justice league movie that takes place i'm hoping summer 2029 or summer 2030 ... that would give this new DCU movie universe at least 4-5 years of momentum to lead up to a justice league movie ... by that time you'll have superman, batman, wonder woman, green lantern with appearances in this new DCU so it won't be a rushed job which many felt it would be with the DCEU with the justice league movie being the 5th movie in that universe, in the case of the DCU you could have as many as 8-10 movies before a justice league movie if they DCU is really going to release two movies per year ... not to mention a whole series of DCU content on MAX too which again could double the number of DCU related material before a justice league movie maybe opens in 2029 or 2030
i don't think you need a second movie or sequel for characters not named superman, batman, and wonder woman before the big event justice league movie taking place in this universe
my big question is how the other A list or A tier justice league members like flash and aquaman will be newly introduced into this new DCU as you gotta think in the first justice league movie those two would have to be on the team
if the first justice league movie happens lets say summer 2030 maybe you could have a solo flash and aquaman movie or at least a major appearance at the earliest in a 2029 film whether it's in their own or in another superhero's film though that may not be fair to two key DC heroes, but if that were to take place it would be in the 5th year of this new DCU and considering the distance gunn and company probably want these two major justice league characters, flash and aquaman, to have from the DCEU versions or counterparts where each will have had a movie take place this year in 2023, again it'd give the general movie going public 5+ years of space in between seeing a flash or aquaman on the big screen
i mean if you look at different adaptations of some of the major comic book characters over the last 25+ years
you had 5 years in between spider-man 3 and the amazing spider-man, amazing spider-man 2 and spider-man homecoming there were around 3 years of separation
superman returns and man of steel you have about 7 years of separation ... batman & robin and batman begins you had around 8 years between movies

@@nysimcharles33 Wrong. Tim Drake takes on the leadership role of the Titans as Red Robin after Dick, and then Jason leads the outlaws with Red Arrow and Starfire after his Red Hood arc. Damian would be current Robin. Plenty of storylines and plotlines to pursue.

He is his own hero, protects his own city, and actually becomes Batman to Damian Wayne's Robin in Grant Morrison's comic series that the Brave and the Bold is based on as per James Gunn himself. Not saying he will be batman in the DCU, but I am saying he is a title character on his own. Tim Drake takes leadership of the Titans after Dick in every continuity not just Young Justice. He is Red Robin. Timeline wise, with there being a Damian Wayne it would make sense he is leading them, and while he isn't the title character that Nightwing is, he certainly would be worth seeing in a Teen Titans movie or TV show where the star of it is the team itself. Jason Todd as Red Hood could have his own standalone arc as well, a show or movie similar to Punisher, he is the perfect anti hero that the DCU can lean on, it wouldn't have to be Red Hood and the outlaws. But to suggest that these members of the Bat Family are useless is lame. They have such cool arcs to add to the universe.
Beside the antimonitor imperiax could be the final boss of the dcu and he could've been wreaking havoc on the multiverse including the former DCEU as a final dunk on that version 😂 before he arrived to the dcu

Killing off Guy Gardener in his first appearance would, in turn, rob us of his dynamic with various individual characters; as a more rough-around-the-edges hero, Guy contrasts with more idealistic and humble figures like Superman & Blue Beetle (note also that he was friends with Ted Kord and this carried over to him being a brotherly-figure towards Jaime in his initial comics). So while I’m not against casualties here and there, I hope Gunn wouldn’t include him just to waste him too swiftly…
On the HSA, do you reckon they’ll be shifted in terms of time period - say, to the 1970s or 1980s - as opposed to the 1940s; we could make them Cold War era heroes in doing so. And it would potentially enable the inclusion of still-living Jay Garrick, Alan Scott, etc.; on the latter, it always saddens me how his children Jade and Obsidian rarely get adapted and I’d love for the possibility of their inclusion at least… Of course, we could well have multiple JSA teams in the timeline; unlike YJ or Stargirl(?), we don’t necessarily need to make it so there was just a single Society that was never restarted with new blood. The JSA might not be present now, and they might have been disbanded multiple times even.
And less than half of these projects will actually happen.
I thinl Gunn's 10 uear plan will not come to fruition. Some projects will get made but not all. WB does not have the money to fund Gunn's vision.
That said, I don't see trilogies even if Gunn gets his Phase 1. At 2 films/year the back half of 4 years has 8 film slots. If they did trilogies just for Batman and Superman that eats up 4 of the 8. Leaving 4 film to end Phase 1 with. Add in a Supergirl trilogy and only 2 slots are left.
If gunns DCU verse is successful which I think it will be given his track record with all 3 guardians being hugely successful much more then other MCU films there give him the money No problem they been in debt for a while now a success like the guardians is rare
