- In this video I will take you through a day in my life as I get ready for Shabbat to start! I will be chatting with you about Jewish life, updates for our Orthodox Jewish family, and what I am doing to get ready for Shabbat to start. In this video I will be making a Fall themed apple dessert: an apple pie parfait! And I will also be making a Cock-a-Leekie soup for our Friday night Shabbat meal. Black Forest gateau would be great. I don't know if that's a thing over there. Eton mess would be fun too - totally gluten free. It's very popular in the UK and it's more or less a messy Pavlova - if you make small blobs of meringue and then coat them in white chocolate it won't go too mushy.

I don’t know if Neila wafers are kosher but what about a banana pudding dessert cup, with pudding, wafers, banana and whipped cream?
@@alixwithani8250 I would love that! Even without the wafers. I don't know if they have gluten free wafers. I do know that there are gluten free Oreos now, but I don't know if they are kosher. I just got a glimpse of what it is like for Chana!

I love the mother/daughter time you spend each week with your daughter doing her hair. Such great bonding time and watching it brings back pleasant memories of my childhood, of time spent with my own mother. My favorite "fall treat" is pumpkin curry soup and some homemade bread rolls. Onions, curry powder, a can of pumpkin puree (straight pumpkin, not the one with spices), and chicken broth, veggie broth, or coconut milk (the kind in a can, not the kind you use instead of cow milk).

Put your whipped topping in a zip lock bag keep in fridge snip the corner off instant pipping bag!! Works wonderfully!!

Thank you so much for sharing this dessert recipe. As someone who needs to follow a gluten-free and dairy-free diet, I always like finding new dessert recipes as pre-made store bought ones are ridiculously expensive for the portion sizes you end up getting.

Baby fire Fly has grown so fast. Wearing your baby is a great way to keep them happy and to be able to get stuff done.
There is a method for curly hair, curly girl, it has revolutionised how some of my friends do the gorgeous curls. Brushing when dry a no no, wide tooth comb and special products.

I've noticed that you pray in the morning. I do it too. First thing that I do when I m starting my day is that after morning hygene rutine I take my coffe and then I start to pray then I begin my day. It doesn't matter how early I must get up to pray so I can make it in time. I do it. Then I go about my day. We May not pray the same way, since I m not Jewish. But someone else is doing what I m doing and that makes me happy. I also pray at 3 o 'clock afternoon and in the evening. Of course we pray as a family too.

Your dessert treat looks fun and tasty! My fall treats currently tend toward breakfast at this point like pumpkin bread or pumpkin flavored creamer for my coffee, which later will become pumpkin pies and apple pie or like treats as you just made ❤️ Thanks for sharing your sabbath prep time!

Love your busy family life. TY for sharing. I bought the food coloring gel (another video you made) and painted flowers my homemade bread. Family loved it. We have a bake sale coming up at our church and I will make some decor homemade bread! Thanks for the idea. Oh and I love the cups and use mine for different desserts.

Oh my goodness, that dessert looks to die for! I also love rainy days, gray days, in the fall. Also gray days in the winter (what little bit of winter we get here on coastal Alabama).
You would love ours, here in Northwestern Oregon! We get lots and lots of them. I like them too.
Sometimes I wish we had more rainy days lol when it rains here it’s either a quick storm or it pours for days. To have the one day of decent rain was unusual but so calming and beautiful

Love these DITL videos Chana! A fun dessert my mom use to make was four layers, but it was in a 9X13 dish. You may have made this and I missed it. Crumble shortbread cookies, then layer the cookies, vanilla pudding and chocolate pudding. Whip cream on top of course. Also, keep those bloopers coming. They are so fun! God Bless 💚💜💙
