santiagop23 I see you have an R142A set in the background and I saw that one on the O guage forums where you replaced the lights. I was wondering if you were going to make a video on it. You inspired me to replace the lights in one of my R142A sets! Nice work :)
I replaced the interior lights to resemble the new R188 cars the MTA just put in service a year ago. Thanks for the idea! I am in the process of filming my 200th video and hope to put it out soon.
The ecos has a built in ampmeter, and it tells me an mth loco draws around an amp and sometimes less. My guess is you could run between 4 to 6 locos with the 4 amps it offers. At any rate, your passenger cars will absolutely need to be led lit. I never run more than 3 locos at a time, and I run rather short trains. So a booster is not something I would need anytime soon. However if you ask me, with all the features it offers the need to get a booster wouldn't prevent me from getting this system.
Kevin O'Leary Awesome! I was lucky to start my o scale collection rather late, a lot of people would like to move to o scale 2 rail but are too invested in 3 rail o gauge (which is wonderful in its own right). I started in o gauge but quickly moved to o scale, it was the right decision for me; i love it. Have you checked the o gauge forums? there is a 2 rail o scale forum in there with amazing people.
It’s great to be positive about this machine. I have one. However, why not at least mention how arrogant the manufacturer is and how crappy their service is. Be a good reviewer, for C….. sake. What you are doing is IMPOSSIBLE to do directly WITHOUT registration by this unbelievable snobby German company. You must register and wait until you are approved … Then also tell people, that if you have a problem, ESU again tells you to register and talk to their forum. The machine is terrific. The manual is crap and so is the service of ESU.
Fantastic video great information regarding ECOS Command Station looking forward to further ECOS videos Thanks
Nice video. Huge fan of your work! That station is a superb piece of German engineering.
Dude, Germans do their homework.
Nice video. I always like your work.I gotta get that.
Thanks!

Tech And Transit
Cool! I'll check it out!
Thanks!
Can you do a video on how to program an extended address for the MTH engine?
Nice Video! :) Can you please make a vid on the r142a?
Belle vidéo? Comment changer la valeur des CVs sur l'Ecos ?
What power supply do you use along with this device and how did you hook it up?
What Amperage does your locomotive draw? How many locos could you run without adding a booster?

Thanks - I believe I am sold. I am just beginning to assemble the various equip I will need to start a 2 rail O scale layout. Starting small for now.

Hello.
Which decoder fit this locomotive? Thanks
MTH PS3 locomotives come with their own DCC decoder built in ;) But maybe an ESU loksoundXL decoder would fit in there.
Santiago can this be applied for Lionel?
Dubailand 1555 No, this station only addresses dcc equipped locomotives. Lionel uses a proprietary sistem called Legacy.
santiagop23 Thank you
