Just got my cab control in the mail today from YankeeDabbler and these videos are going to make getting started so much easier. Been running NCE for years but this even better. In fact, MUCH better. Question: which version of Android does the system use? Will Android updates be included with ESU's updates? How do I tell when I need an update- is there a place on the settings menu that ID's the current system version? This system, to me, represents a quantum leap in the DCC UI and it leapfrogs ESU ahead of the other DCC developers. Of course, this is a new OS, so I hope that you can keep a steady stream of bug stomping updates coming. Congratulations to you and your crew at ESU.

Can you arrange engines and cars in order on the control as you gave them on the layout?

i was wondering is it ok to put the unit on power supply like how you have it there in video.

As long as there is some airflow around it this should be OK. All electronics create a little bit of heat. The feet of the ICU create a channel for air to reach the PS, and there is an internal fan in the ICU which will help.

cool also dose the icu have expansion pins at the bottom. i saw on unboxing video there bottom tab or pin shield

Can you program your engine to be esu full throttle with the esu cab controller If you dont have the esu lok programmer?

Hi Jeffery, The Full Throttle Features come in the new sound files. The sound file will need to be changed to add them to your models. Still better than replacing the whole decoder to add the features but a LokProgrammer will be needed to do this.
