Had this kit in my backlog, untouched since 2014. Just started working on it almost a month ago. Currently detailing the cockpit section with added internal cabling, cabin lighting and three display monitors. The kit also came with the flashers but I’m adding Arduino-controlled LED effects for the strobes, flickering on the monitors and “breathing” LED on the monoeye. Great job you did on the Ingram 2, Otakubuilder. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great build it looks incredible! Having to see the pilot really puts me off tho. But other than the way you put it together really makes it very appealing especially for a older kit.
Otakuzero0110 I don't know why but older kits are just a lot more fun to build. And painting the pilot is actually a lot more easier compared to how model kits are build now because they are like ridiculously tiny.🤣
Absolutely beautiful build, can't believe I didn't know about these kits until now. Definitely gonna have to get one soon and start practicing what I've learned from your videos.
It is safer to peel off the dry transfer slowly in case there are some loose spot you can press it back and apply more pressure but sometimes they just wont transfer... For the rubber sleeves you can use weathering powder and airbrush thin coat of flat. Avoid enamel wash as it will shrink the rubber.
I don't think this is a 1/100 scale since Patlabor AV98 Ingram is 8 meters tall which would be 8 cm tall (around 3 inches) in 1/100 metric scale, what about this figure? It's an MG tho. Edit: I just Googled it and this figure is actually a 1/35 scale.
This is actually a 1/35 Master Grade kit ;)

Looking forward to see the finished kit
Thanks for reviewing this kit, love the Ingram & these older kits have real charm. Noa Izumi would freak with how dirty this turned out 😅👍
Its Ohta`s Labor.. ill be fine
There’s something about this kit that I love. Great job buddy.
Fantastic build. I'd imagine a patlabor in 1/100 would be the size of a potato chip
Looking good! Tip for the metallics in the future though , a black base coat make metallics look better than a grey or white base coat :)
we need to beg Bandai to make a Master Grade 2.0 of the Patlabors, would look real good next to a Master Grade Jegan, I'll bet
Great video man, i too, Am a child of the 80's and early 90's Anime. This just hits the spot nostalgically :)
Very nice, love the paint job and those lights!

Awesome sir
Now I just want to go watch the movies again...
Always prefer white primer for light colors but they cost more than grey.
Great build I have unit 1 coming soon
Did you paint the joint cover bits or just leave them ?
Cool!
Beautiful work! Nice vídeo! Hey, do you take photos of your kits? If yes, where i can see them?
Instagram my dude. @OtakuBuilder 👍🏽
Based on the size of the pilot: is that really 1:100 scale?
Just because its Master Grade DOES NOT always mean its 1:100.
i have the ingram 1, too bad they don't sell the LED for the kit anymore. at least not seperately :(
What nozzle size did you use for shading?
This is not 1/100
This is 1/35 ??
Is there anywhere that *isn't* amazon that I can get this?
What you used on the rubber parts to prime them
Nothing. The only thing I added was Tamiya panel lining and some flat coat spray over the area.
Ok thanks i just started jumping into building again with a pg wing zero and that's how I found your channel
I thought this kit came with waterslides. Maybe that was a different kit.
