Asmongold's problem is he never watched the last samurai with Tom Cruise. When they teach him how to fight with a sword, the sparring instructor says "Don't think. Just focus on your sword and your opponent's sword. Nothing else." And that is how you fight anything in from software games too. Too much thinking.
Seriously. I watched him play ds1 when I did my first run, haven’t played or watched ds3 yet.I heard ds2 was bad so I wanted to see his playthrough. This is tough to watch, he comes off as forced to play Plus that chair and angle makes him look pudgy af lol
He starts the game with a really bad mood, while sick, with a negative attitude to each and every npc and mechanic, and still complains about the game not being fun when he doesn't even give it the chance to be. The only stats he levels are hp and strength, completely disregarding chat telling him how important ADP is for rolling and healing, and also not even leveling vit, so he keeps fatrolling cause he refuses to use lighter gear cause "the hammer oneshots everything", and then he even asks "why would i want to roll? it costs stamina" before complaining about dying to a fast boss. unbelievable attitude while playing a souls game. He also laughs when the game offers him the ability to cast spells, and i get wanting to play a melee build, but treating every player who uses spells like a fucking loser is just rude. i usually enjoy his videos about games like diablo and elden ring hot takes, but this is just a pain to witness. i'm only at part 5, but i fear how the rest of the game plays out at this rate.
I love dark souls 2 🔥 and absolutely agree with you about his bad mood, because I watched his first time playing ds 2 one or two years and there he feels good and his mood was okay so that was alot of fun to watching him how he plays

Don't know why he forced himself to play this game. Imo I wouldn't watch this guy for an opinion on getting ds2 for yourself.
