You can argue that with Ghost Roaster’s lines about them being overlooked and thrown to the side to do the “dirty work” that the reposes might be canon representations of which Skylanders are beloved by the general public. And with that… you can argue that Sunburn might flat out be dead. He’s the *only* one who never got a repose or elite figure or anything of the sort. Honestly this story makes me really want a full serialized Skylanders comic series. I love seeing the differences in morality with Ghost Roaster’s willingness to betray the Skylanders and Nightfall seeming to not want to forgive anyone and wanting to just kill Ghost Roaster. It shows that not all of the Skylanders have the same views and ideals and that could lead to really interesting stories.
I just want to say Sunburn is the ultimate forgotten Skylander. He’s never once gotten a repose. The rest of Spyro’s adventure’s Forgotten 8 have. Wham-Shell, Warnado and Camo got one in Swap force, and the rest got Eon’s Elite figures. Sunburn never got one.

The reason Kaos was around in said comic was explained at the end of Superchargers. Now, it’s been a while since I saw the ending, but I believe the story went that Kaos decided to help the Skylanders at the Academy until his powers returned after defeating the Darkness.
I would highly recommend looking into the Oracle from giants. He's a very interesting character that just sorta drops from the face of the universe (as far as I know), but felt like he was supposed to be important. Like, he does tests on us for "research" and then nothing comes of it
Kaos is there because at the end of Superchargers, Kaos is temporarily staying with the Skylanders until he comes up with his next evil plan. The comic takes place after Superchargers.
That talk at the beginning reminded me of my favorite troll from Age of Sigmar, their name is Mollog and they have one of my favorite lore blurbs I've seen. _"Mollog, the ancient Dankhold Troggoth (AoS Trolls), really just wants to find somewhere dark and damp to go back to sleep, but people keep disturbing him and getting in his way. Suffice to say, this never ends well for them..."_
okay, as usual, a couple of inconsistencies and misinformation, nothing major, I do love your content, but man do I wish I could help keep to the lore 1. The fact Voodood, Boomer and Ghost Roaster are Elites isn't entirely related to them working under Buzz for those couple of months, that is probably the reason why they were chosen for this mission but they aren't Elites because of Buzz, in the lore Eon's Elites are noteworthy Skylanders that have proven to Eon that they can basically lead other Skylanders in battle or inspire them to do great things 2. The reason why Kaos is in the comic is because the comic takes place after the Superchargers game ended, in the end Kaos winds up at least temporarily joining the Skylanders as a consultant of evil, basically losing most of his respect as a villain because of how he betrayed the Darkness but still having someone to fall back on, the Skylanders agreed since this way they could keep an eye on Kaos 3. Nightfall doesn't pick fights with people, she criticizes Stormblade because from Nightfall's perspective she's too soft and cuddly to get the job done, also talks far too much, she also criticizes Spitfire for not being able to lead just two Superchargers let alone a team of 20, and despite being harsh she does have a point at times 4. NIghtfall also doesn't mean for Stormblade to actively kill Ghost Roaster here, much like we don't actively kill any of the Villains in Trap Team, Voodood also said to take both Spellslamzer and Ghost Roaster down just a few panels earlier and yet noone actually intended for Spellslamzer to be killed, hell even Ghost Roaster asks to be taken down as a villain in one moment, and Stormblade at one point also wonders whether or not the Elites should still be called heroes before the reveal that they were undercover 5. NIghtfall would also apologize to Stormblade, seeing merit to her methods as it was only Stormblade's kindness that brought Ghost Roaster back to being a Skylander 6. They couldn't bust the operation before it happened as that's exactly how the three Superchargers got captured, the point of the mission was to infiltrate, to sell a lie that three Skylanders abandoned their purpose and were looking to work for a villain, if that didn't happen the Skylanders wouldn't even know about Spellslamzer's operations before it was too late as Spellslamzer took great measure in hiding his fortress, troops etc., the only one who openly suspected a villain was cooking some evil plan was Kaos, himself a somewhat evil villain who would be cooking some evil plan at that time if not for his allegiance to the Skylanders, if the Skylanders just went ahead and rushed in guns blazing they would've found nothing 7. Softpaw was consistently seen beside Spellslamzer throughout the comic before revealing his identity, he also wasn't able to leave Spellslamzer's side much like the Elites,
the story is engaging and I like the points you brought up but I must admit I was more focused on you struggling on the rock puzzle in the background footage
I would like to point out that a lot of skylanders are criminals, let alone terrorists (in boomers case at least). Also I’d like to call attention to the line “finish him off, do it *right this time* “this may be referring to a different part in the comic but I think this may actually mean that the superchargers have had traitors before. And imagine how many other betrayals the skylanders as a whole have had. Eon would and probably has had skylanders hunt down and execute people who betrayed them.
that is... very, very, very much incorrect first off, "a lot of Skylanders are villains", that applies to all of... 2-3 Skylanders not counting the Villain Senseis, in all of which it's also said that they spent a lot of time trying to do better and become actual good guys, something they succeed in second off, at no point in the comic is it ever mentioned nor even implied that any other Skylander betrayed Eon, that's exactly why it came as a surprise that Voodood, Boomer and Ghost Roaster appeared to have betrayed the Skylanders and exactly why Voodood and Boomer didn't expect Ghost Roaster to fully go towards the dark side third off, at no point is it explicitly mentioned that the Skylanders kill literally anyone, be it villain, traitor, or a bug, the only mention that comes close to that is in one of the older books where the Undead Skylanders were mentioned to make the bridges in their Elemental Gates from the bones of their enemies, but that doesn't explicitly say how they acquired said bones nor if those bones were alive before facing the Skylanders, what it might imply is that the Undead Skylanders fight a lot o Undead enemies
I actually think something that would be really cool, if someone made a Skylanders comic series, but in the way of the Skybound Transformers comics. I feel like that would be absolutely rad
wdym Superchargers timeline, the game series and everything surrounding it only has one timeline, with Ring of Heroes and Academy being their separate things but everything else probably being in the main canon
@@Folia.. Apparently some developers claimed that the games created by Vicarious Visions (I:E Swap Force and Superchargers) aren’t canon, only the ones created by Toys for Bob (SSA, Giants, Trap Team, etc.). Now whether or not this is true, I have no idea.
@@beastmaster0934 well then I'll give you an idea, it's not true, and one of the people who is the most vocal about this opinion is Alex Ness, the same guy who claims Gill Grunt found his girlfriend before becoming a Skylander which goes against literally every singular mention of Gill Grunt's lore and I wish I was joking. To humour the theory for a bit, let's see what happens when we treat the VV games as a separate timeline, that also by extension separates SC from SF into two separate timelines because SC contains elements of TT, and that also separates TT and Imaginators into their own timelines because they both contain elements of SF and SC, and also makes pretty much most comics into their separate timelines for the same reasons stated above, but why stop there, if one half of the franchise has this many problems why not the other half, and here we find out that by the same logic that separates the VV games into separate timelines we can separate SSA and Giants into their own timelines as well because there's some lore inconsistencies with the books and Elder Elementals became Giants randomly, combine that with the Mask of Power books also having to be separate timelines by extension despite being one continuous story, you basically end up with each individual piece of Skylanders media being it's own timeline, which creates a bunch more issues than it fixes. And let's also go to the one argument anyone believing the timeline theory brings up, that it fixes the "Kaos's Mom retcon", to explain it we have to go back to Giants, there's a specific portrait found in Kaos's Kastle that depicts supposedly his family, his mom and dad as ugly as him, and people think Kaossandra retcons that with her appearance in SF right? Well... A lot of people forget that if taken as a proper and true representation of Kaos's family the portrait itself is a retcon to the Machine of Doom book, which describes Kaos's father and his brothers as all having long blonde locks and having dashingly good looks, and we know for a fact that that part of his story isn't retconned because they're mentioned in the Book of Kaos, a book that came out after TT, and given how the portrait itself has no lore behind it, it's not even acknowledged in the game itself, it's really not hard to assume Kaos just put it there as a caricature so people don't know what his parents looked like, especially considering the many statues of Kaos found all around the Kastle. As for the second point regarding Kaossandra, people think that because she's a Dark Portal Master her saying Portal Masters only cause trouble in the Giants guidebook was retconned, but then people forget that even by the logic of the very first game Dark Portal Masters are not the same as normal Portal Masters, Eon is still cited as "The Last Portal Master" despite Kaos existing, so surely she could just be talking about the good Portal Masters that mess up her plans, the Kaos family would still likely be evil even without VV's involvement. Sorry for the yap session but I am a firm combatant against the timeline theory as it creates a whole bunch of plot holes without actually fixing any of them
What's interesting, despite being made up of the Forgotten skylanders, notably, it still misses out on Sunburn. He's NEVER had a new figure- not even a Lightcore or Eon's Elite.
