I don't celebrate Christmas but it is my birthday on Christmas Day so I celebrate my birthday
i just want to say something and i might be wrong but this is how i see it.
so what i love about your family and how you celebrate christmas is you don't spoil your kids with presents. there is so many youtube familys out there that give their kids so many presents that to them it gets normal to get that. you guys didn't do that you gave your kids lots of presents but not too much like lots of other presents. thats the same how i always got presents when i was litlle i got about 3 or 4 presents and i am so happy thats i was never spoilt with gifts even though my parents were able to afford more they didn't and you can already see your kids are so nice and loving and gratefull for everything that they get. i just wanted to say this because i think you guys are such a nice and loving family and i love you guys for that! merry christmas!!

+Tami Gorman I agree. Jackson and Calvin are still very young and don't understand the concept of Christmas yet. Ollie was so overwhelmed with that ridiculous display of gifts and yard of playground equipment that he had no idea as to what to look at first. It is a bad message to send, and gifts are not what Christmas is supposed to be about.
+Tami Gorman it just depends and you could have just said other youtube family cause now you look not so nice saying DAILY BUMPS and oliver just got new shoes, a toy gun, some figurines, a mickey mouse bike, stuff toys and other stuffs . They just live them and if you want to describe someone dont put out their name or their youtube name
+SusanScrapPassion firts of all oliver is 2 and fully understands how to pleay with the things that was given to him and the playground was given to him by his grandparents and they did that just so they dont have to go to the park and its also because they can spend morw timw on mimis and papas and if you watch some of their vlogs before christmas they bought a book about the true meaning of christmas and they said that they read it to ollie im not a hater of e+j i just loved them both and i dont want anyone to compare them both its their decision on how to raise their kids

Everyone needs to really stop comparing daily bumps to Ellie and Jared. They both have a somewhat different way or parenting and idea of Christmas. Ellie and Jared spends Christmas morning with only their own family (the 4 of them), daily bumps spends Christmas morning with a lot more family (this year the 9 of them), so of course daily bumps is going to have more presents under the tree because they have more than twice the people with them then Ellie and Jared. Both families have a different way of spending their money, so if daily bumps wants to spend their money on building their own personal park, then that's their decision! And if Ellie and Jared want to spend their money doing random acts of kindness, then that's also their decision! I think both families are raising their kids really well but that's just my opinion. Also remember that both families are friends with each other! So as viewers, we shouldn't be judging which family is "better" or more "conservative". Thank you!

Jared, on your other video when you were wishing people that were alone on Christmas a Merry Christmas, it brought tears to my eyes. You seemed so genuine. I was one of those alone at Christmas, by husband in out of town, trying to find a job. My kids are grown at spent Christmas with their dad. We are in a financial bind right now, and this was the first year ever we were unable to get a tree. So I just want to thank you for making my day a little brighter, I know you don't know me, but for a minute it felt like you did. Thank you again Jared.
I have so much respect for you two and how you handle Christmas gifts! This year and last year I noticed how toned down you keep it and never over indulge your children always keeping it within your means. Such a fine example to young families. So impressive! Gods blessings to you!
I love how Ellie and Jared don't shower their children with tons of toys and really get thoughtful, simple gifts. They truly exemplify what Christmas is about; not the gifts, but the love of family and of Christ!

I love that you guys (and Santa) didn't go overboard. A lot of people nowadays buy their young children tons of (unnecessary) gifts. They got the perfect amount. It's not just about presents. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Can I just say I LOVE how you don't spoil your kids! I try to do that with my little girls, get them each 3 or 4 things they really want or I think they will really love. It does them so much good! It looks like Calvin and Jackson had a wonderful Christmas! Merry Christmas!

Ellie and Jared can I just say how much I appreciate your moderation in gift giving? I understand giving gifts is fun, and it's the parents prerogative to decide the amount, but I don't see the point in giving a child under the age of 6 more than 3-4 presents. It's just a personal opinion, and doesn't really matter, but it's nice to see that considering how youtubers sometimes go a little overboard. Either way, it seems like you guys had a really nice Christmas, thanks for a great year of vlogging!

Merry Christmas Ellie and Jared and Jackson and Calvin. Our favorite part of our first Christmas together was spending time with family and playing pool with our new table top pool table. Miss our father this year. It was hard but we were all there for each other. We lost him in March but we know mom and dad were with us spiritually.
