This is probably our kid's biggest Christmas .. I go crazy every year and I said this year I was NOT going to do that... & I failed miserably once again 😂😭 It's ok, I'm soo excited 😁😄

Love seeing a fellow mom of autistic kids go overboard. It’s just so fun to buy new things when they begin to develop and evolve especially when it’s been forever compared to the worlds standard of development!
as kids we got only 1 to 2 gifts some years, we got something from toys for tots or a church because we were poor, but we always enjoyed what we got as long as we had food and a place to live, we were happy. As an adult now every year on my birthday I donate to toys for tots in my local area also do the food drives as well I feel grateful to have now as an adult. I like seeing kids smile.

I did the same thing. Toys through the year were limited to dollar store skipping ropes and sidewalk chalk but Xmas was lavish!!!

Great Gifts..Love it. I tend to do that with my kids as well. They know Christmas is when they get the bulk of what they really wanted through out the year so we don't have a set amount for them. We'll get the majority on their list and add gifts that we think they'll enjoy and what ever they may not have got they'll put in on their birthday list. We enjoy spending for them on Christmas and seeing the looks on their faces which in itself is Priceless.

The Dollar Tree where I am from has Avenger inspired masks! I get them for dress up for my preschool class! That way if they get ruined it was only $1, and only $1 to replace! So affordable!

i loved this video, especially since i have a young son with autism. we have that same tub of dinosuars, we put them in his sensory box and he can dig around for them. :) it was fun seeing what you picked out. i feel like trying to find mine things for christmas, birthdays, ect is always a challenge. 😅 thank you for sharing, really appreciate it. 😊👍🏻
Your Christmas videos excite me, it is like so organized. I wrap for hours and then I am like oh I forgot I put some stuff here or there. Then the tree looks like it threw up and I am like I did way too much. Lol

This is the first of your videos that I've ever seen and I love this video. I love it. I like watching What I got my kid for Christmas every year, it's just fun, y'know? But I'm also a mom to an autistic kiddo and they just play differently. Sometimes their likes and needs are very niche so the gifts you get for them end up being that way too. I find it hard to find this type of video from other parents of autistic kiddos. This type of video is always fun, but I appreciate it more when it's another parent of an autistic kiddo and I'm getting to see how your kid ticks. Thank you for explaining everything the way you do, all kids are different, but our kids are even more so. It warms my heart to see a mom so in tune with the particular likes and needs of each of her special needs kids. You know what makes them tick and I love that.

I was just as bad as you are when my boys were kids. I normally didn't buy them much in the way of toys throughout the rest of the year, so I went crazy for Christmas. I really miss those days and my boys being kids.

“He’s aged out of a lot of the Nintendo Switch games” meanwhile I’m here at 22 😅 then again I considered buying myself play dough on cyber Monday and got a stuffed seal from a friend last week so maybe ageing out isn’t my thing lol

I can tell by the way you were explaining the toys for Liam and Penelope that you are so excited that they are starting to enjoy the presents of toys! I know both of my boys especially the older one never played with toys, still to this day the youngest only plays with the little characters! I love watching what you get for your kids every year, it gives me great ideas! Especially for my 11yr old son (ASD) ... He is so much like Noah and so this helps alot!! However, do your kids get overwhelmed or overstimulated? My son does and so I have tried to space out the gifts, tried more of a simpler approach ... It's a real struggle on Christmas and his birthday with opening gifts, too much going on.
So Noah use to open his gifts in phases but now he can handle it all at once. Lex has no issues. Liam and Nellie get SUPER overwhelmed so we are doing a different Christmas morning experience for them
The past 2 years I have finally been able to provide a good Christmas and birthdays to my 2 kids and I am the same way I only buy toy's and other stuff for them on Christmas and birthday

The one holiday I remember the most my parents got me some balloons just a bag you blow up and maybe a small dry erase board and told me they were sorry they didn’t have the money but we’re going to get me something else later. I remember saying that I loved what I got and I didn’t need anything else. I did love what I got and even more just feeling they cared. I think I just knew it was heartfelt. You are blessed and your children to have you. I know oh how the world has changed but I hope that you know you are not alone it’s just not seem as much so easily and you are important. I do hope you found some resources. give your time make something fun or just make up fun things to do. Just let your kids know they are loved. That is the best gift your presence in their life and showing your love for them while teaching them the blessing of the season which is family love kindness etc.

Hi I'm very impaired so it's nice that you are showing things that could possibly be gifts for people I know someday I've been visually impaired since first and I always encourage people to describe things on RUclips I know it's a pain for some people but for people like me it's good to know what their is what colours are and what it looks like I always encourage people to do that because it is good to help people with disabilities as well as to promote good things for people so I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and it's nice to see people showing what day are getting their family and friends and kids

Awesome video! We are going to Yuma, Arizona to see my dad’s adoptive dad. We are not doing a lot of presents this year. I think my mom should do that something to wear, something to read, something you need and something you want concept this year. Just 4 gifts. That’s easy. And I’m getting older so that comes into account too. I am 25 years old. I love Mario stuff. Legend of Zelda too. I like anything gamer-related lol. I’m a hardcore gamer. I play on my Switch a lot. We had to go a bit smaller the last 2 years due to my husband being out of work because of health issues. He went back to work a few months ago and we have saved like crazy do we went alot bigger this year. Not as big as we wanted because we originally wanted to get them a playground but we decided to not use that much of our savings.

I hope you guys do a Christmas vlog! If not totally understandable but the looks on youre kids (especially youre 4 youngest kids) face will be great! My brother is on the spectrum and I never forgot his face the first Christmas he finally got toys because he wanted to play with them! It’s always fun to see his face every year when he has a new interest or gets into something again. This year he’s gotten really into SpongeBob again so he’s got some SpongeBob gifts that I can’t wait to see him open!

What a fun filled Christmas they are going to have. My adhd asd 13 yr old is so hard to buy for right now. She still wants toys but doesn't play with them, she's stuck right in between. I'm not one to let her on games alot as she's all or nothing, so to keep her engaged with the world we have limited screen time. Makes shopping for her hard though. This gave me some great ideas! My 7 yr old is easy, he only ever likes lego and transformers, luckily they always release new stuff each yr lol
