We moms are very touchy! LOL I would do the same thing. We literally hold our children for the first few years of their life so we're used to touching. We are touchers. LOL
I've never seen someone do that, but it made perfect sense. Something that only another Mom, your Mom... would do. It was uplifting to watch how your whole family is so excited!

It's funny that in this day in age with social media we get to see these wonderful loving couples that become part of our lives. It's as if your really my friends I truly have this caring loving feeling for you two. I didn't really get it until this video. I knew I liked watching what you do seeing your life grow almost being part of it. But watching this video I jump for joy and cried with you out of joy. From the pit of my stomach to the tingle at my head an overwhelming feeling rushed through my body. I LOVE IT!!!! im old and very ill.... i deal with a crazy amount of pain, i had to have my nearly 13yo shar pei put to sleep, ive been crippled with grief... but the only thing thats made me smile is this video!!! my life is a tragic gutter fire... but i cant help but be happy for trent and allie... that baby is so fortunate to have such amazing parents. thanks for cheering me up. today made 1 week without my dog... i did not expect to smile like a fool for 30 mins, you cant help but feel all that love...

We waited on all of our children, I was so confident we were having a boy. As the baby who was delivered they they said... "it's- a- girl", and I said a girl??? Can't be!
they put her in my arms and that little girl looked deep through my soul and I instantly fell in love with her. And I've been her daddy and in love with her for 30 years

What a beautiful and fun idea to share this moment with your family -- who love you and care. The glitter bazooka was a great idea. To have Allie's parents there made it 100 times better. Meeting them at the airport and having dinner with them made it much more fun for them to come to the party. Very thoughtfull and classy. Trent, your Grandmother is a national treasure. We loved knowing the gender of our second son. It was especially great to share with our oldest, and he helped give his little brother a name. He spent the last 4 months of the pregnancy telling his little brother bedtime stories; they are extremely close to this day ... decades later. congratulations to your growing family.
