Just a drunk and desperate “OH SHIT” cowboy kind of feel. It also sounds like something Ennio Morricone would produce, hate to be that guy but it’s just raw
@@BanjoManco i mean it ain't meant to sound exactly like a western as most of the game is based out east. still gives the vibe at certain points and there are plenty of tracks that do sound very rdr1 like.

@@BanjoManco sure though i'd argue most of the popular old westerners take place in the west. I mean I wouldn't describe rdr2s music as "eastern" but it definitely fits with the location most of the time. for example alotta the ost in missions around rhodes take some qualities from southern songs and music. Saint Denis and it's missions have a certain mob style feel especially any surrounding angelo bronte. i think what I'm trynna say is rdr2 covers a much wider scope than your typical westener and even rdr1 so its music reflects that and is more diverse.
@Straight Busta jimmy does make a reference to the gang battles of the 80's in one of the missions, and if you escape with lamar during Hood Safari as Trevor, lamar mentions that it's 'old school' for Ballas & Families to dress up fully in purple and green respectively. @WOLFY69 Hope you have a good time man. I spent maybe close to 100 hours on my 1st playthrough. And on my second, I took even more time collecting everything I wanted to having a blast.
Thematically, this track was such a departure from what we'd already heard in the game, the oddity of it, combined with coming under a hail of bullets from Cornwall's hired guns, impresses upon the player that they're dealing with something different, something overwhelming. The West is dying. The Oil Men are coming. You can't escape "progress".
Strauss: *screams* John: It's just a scratch, shut up. Arthur: You can talk. We all heard you whine about a knick from the wolves. Dutch: Will you shut up and kill these bastard.

No, the drums

Especially Manhunt 1 during the intro
To me at first this was something from Bully like a delivery mission or something.
listen to rats in the library soundtrack which has red dead vibes and also there is a bully reference mission in rdr2 where you clean the rats in bar.
