Passenger side got flooded. Traced the leak to a disconnected hose between the bottom dashboard near the passenger inner wall. My guess is the tube popped out of the connecting tube that took the water from the sunroof port to the front passenger wheel well. I used shoppy water and traced the leak. It was a pain to get to and reconnect the hose
Tienes qlgun otro video de arreglar la parte del cofre,ya quite los plasticos y lave el desagüe saque mucha tierra y plantas 😅 y quedo limpio pero sigue entrando agua debajo de los pies 😢
Thank you for this video. We have. 1999 Honda Accord and driver's side floor gets wet. Along with it being difficult to start I guess from the dampness.
Wow, that’s a beautiful accord👍🏻im having the leak issue with mine and i just wanted to sell it but looking at yours It makes me want to keep It and work on it. Thank you for the video
Thank you for this video! I have a 2006 Accord that has a chronic back passenger side floor wet problem, which I believe is an aft sunroof drain clog. I have accessed the front two drains from the sunroof with weed whacker plastic cording and they drain water fine. I can't access the back drains from the outside with open sunroof. Today I got brave enough to pull out the trunk liner (nevermind the bent dinner fork), found the right drainage tube (aha!), and see where it goes out of the trunk. It appears to be intact where I can see it. But where does it go from there, and where does it come out? I've been under the car, felt around, can't figure it out. Would like to access the end of the tube so i can send a wire up from the bottom. If I can't access it from the outside, should I pull up the tube where I can see it, and what am I going to have to replace thereafter? Trying not to make more of a problem. Thank you advance for everyone's help! Margaret
Hi Margaret! The 2006 is a different model but might be similar to mine. If it is anything like mine, it should to the left or right side of the bumper closer to the wheel where the vents are behind the bumper. There is usually a black rubber nipple sticking out (very similar to the mouthpiece of a camelbak). Good luck with your car!
Thanks man this is a great video. But question I have 00 accord and is the rear passenger flooring that is getting wet. Does that mean my leak is coming the trunk drainage hose? I just started noticing this
I'll definitely keep that in mind if I have to take it apart again. Pretty straight forward though. Rear seat bottoms remove by pulling up on the clips under both ends. Front seats come out with 4x 14mm bolts and the door sills, B pillar and kick panels come off by pulling on the clips as well. The hardest is the center console; it comes off by screws inside the console where you adjust the handbrake, under the trim of the shifter and a few behind the driver and passenger knee pads.
Our '99 Accord smells absolutely terrible from leaks. If we fix the water issue, do you think the carpet can be cleaned to where it has no smell? I think there's either a ton of mildew or black mold underneath. Or do you have to replace the carpet completely? Great video by the way.
Hello I have a 06coupe 4 cylinder that is having water on drivers floor and I’ve looked for where it goes in the fitting to drain out but I can’t see it very well does anyone have pictures of it and the door jam piece I can’t get off because it has the key lock and trunk and gas cap release and that part I can’t seem to off. Thank you for any advice
Yea!! youu really did a fantastic job' with alll the work you did'...thanks our 98' accord is full of problems.. I just fixed the driver side axle..{what a big job for me} I'm old not so it's even more hassel.
You should be able to access it by taking the liner out on the inside. If you only need to mess with the nipple at the end of the line, you should be able to see it from underneath by the bumper
You'd have to pull out the carpet. It involves taking the dead pedal off and some trim around it. Taking off the seat helps too but depends on how far you need to go to dry it.
No sun or moon roof. Removed cowl, was full of water. In corner of pan be quarter panel and fire wall there's a hole on driver and passenger side that drains down in wheel well behind flap. Water was coming down through cabin air filter, can see it with cowl removed.
Also my sunroof doesn't tilt for some reason cannot seem to figure out why seems blocked but I'm taking my headliner out asap where you able to salvage your liner or
Hmm, does it slide still? If not, could be your motor. You can try first before taking out your headliner by taking the cap right behind the dome light and turning it with an Allen wrench. This is a manual override in case your motor fails but you can tilt and slide with that. The tool should be with the spare tire tools. Should be able to salvage your liner, everything snapped back in place; I even added insulation to it since it was out.
Thanks! Yes I do. The TL was supposed to replace it as my daily but I love the car too much to stop driving it or sell it. Unfortunately those leaks are very common, good luck with the repairs!
So yea I cleaned the sunroof runners and brought some life to them I think I stopped them from under the liner but my liner was saturated or something nad is all puffy I'll def have to get another
Not that I have seen as far as the rubber that goes between the body and door, seems like the dealer is the only option. If you are talking about the ones between the window and door, I've seen some aftermarket ones for like 67 bucks but I dont know how good they are. www.ebay.com/itm/324049102771?fits=Year%3A2002%7CModel%3AAccord&hash=item4b72d4e7b3:g:vhwAAOSwUk5f3ez9&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8PIvEgT4xSTLIy68javX92aeiQNAgeslva%2FAq0rn%2Fq25pq4aBWburozR1zlXXKEOPnjlsbyhklqJouBVokaSFegCUtmH335LJTjTMykylrQmfiuSCNrjaii0MowxGeLRZP%2BI9NhfiRD5ZKP2xKAi6EFXZ9zL8fETUG2yAo%2Bi5TY9zgEKApnU8JeTHvrv8mLYYWgqkF3cfYauJ%2B16ldEy7ywigMxIBAxSoGinoxjAtwtaH%2FMfNkbyNuW7UxLvJZozN7d2%2F97bLu%2B9BxY65uoy2ty9CslGOoCXqYlQUEwJLNshHNPRiQvFgRBH%2BrtcchzETg%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR5z-h4SzYQ

Very thorough process.

That stripped interior leads me to believe you're single or have a very patient wife! Kudos for that super clean body cement trick with tape!
😂 yes you are correct! The worse if whenever I have to take up my whole kitchen for some of my car projects! Thanks for watching!
I got leaks on the driver and passenger side. Wish you would have shown the passenger side leak location/fix.

Not sure if you have a sunroof or not but when my rear floor was wet, it was my front sunroof drain that led to the fender.
i'd like to see the clip of the strip down and re-build. I need new carpets and need to remove seats...i'm intimidated tho

I'm going to strip out my 31 year old carpet😂.

Thank you from Mandurah, Western Australia. Did the 3M sealant hold up?
Im gonna apply a piece of heat shrink (the type for thick wires) to the rubber grommet and plastic drain pipe. It should hold it together better
thanks this was the best one of the bunch'..I know this is 3 yrs old now..Yet you did a great job.,,thanks

My question is what all do I have to take out to access the passenger rear drain tube?

Thank you for this very informative video.
How do I get water out from underneath the drivers side

I have a 98 accord project. Im trying to repair a leaky roof hose that shrunk. Can you share what hose you used to repair them
Hey, I just bought some with the same diameter from Home Depot, I believe it was just some clear PVC hose.
No sun or moon roof.
Removed cowl, was full of water.
In corner of pan be quarter panel and fire wall there's a hole on driver and passenger side that drains down in wheel well behind flap.

Is there a drain plug under the back passenger floorboard carpet on the 1998 Honda Accord
If there was one, I didnt use it. I just used a wet vac. I think there are some but they are covered by the factory sound dampening.
The roof of my 2005 Honda Accord on the passenger side has been leaking.
Me too. Saw another video where the seam sealer between the A pillar and roof starts cracking and leaks. you'd think it's the sunroof, but it's not.
You are definitely respect your car!
hey man what pedels are those
It's a type R style pedal from strutking
Yo is there anywhere online that I could find the weather stripping for the front driver and passenger doors?
