Ohh I’m so excited you’re doing this I love Randy Feltface and I’ve been hounding all the reactors lately with his content! He just finished a Us tour and seemed to have small audiences of around 300-400 but defo his own shows there. Hope you’re doing well Rob, looking forward to a chicken update soon. ❤
His most recent British tour was Feb-March this year, mostly England and Scotland I think, I know he played the O2 in London. He's been touring internationally for years, he puts out a new show almost every year. He's very well known, sorry, you're not the first to discover him, not by a long shot, lol.
Random and obscure connection I have here:- I went to the same public secondary college as Waleed Aly and Nathan Lovejoy, a (tall!) actor who starred in the series “Sammy J & Randy in Ricketts Lane”. Though, Waleed prefers to say he attended Wesley College (and he did - but only for his VCE years).
Randy mostly does smaller venues, comedy clubs, show taverns and small stage places. I guess it just saves money to work smaller places. But despite this. he is popular here, Canada and America.
It's a fine program. The people who are rabidly anti it are generally just anti Waleed , or far right politically and the show is a little left and shows compassion to people. The show always gets comedians on , the show was created by stand up comedian Rove McManus and he ran it for a long time , sometimes guests on it, the show now fully belongs to Ten but they have him on occasionally. It's just friendly light entertainment.
Waleed is fairly annoying tbf, as are many of the usual guests (Kate Loengbrok drives me up the fcking wall far worse than Waleed). His heart is in the right place most of the time but holy shit has he had some bad takes on news topics (again, not as bad as Kate or others cashed up bogans they keep letting on that program)
Heath McIvor Is the one who created and puppeteers Randy. It would be quite amazing if Sammy J was controlling Randy while also playing the keyboard in their shows.
For some reason, nobody will admit to liking The Project and especially the host Walled Aly personally I don't watch it, it's been going on for years so someone must watch it ? as for Randy he can be very funny but I had never heard his full name Feltface until this week, Australia has had a lot of puppet stars but by far Agro was the best 💯
The Project is not a good show but it's the only show of this type (light entertainment with celeb interviews) that exists anymore in this country. Just today Randy posted one of his stand-up shows on his own channel, "Randy Feltface - The Book Of Randicus"
The project hasn't got that stigma from the annoying panel.. We feel this way because of the blatant liars on the panel! I wish they would finally cancel that bullshit!!!
you have to watch his gumtree story. even if you dont record it. pure magic.
Randy buys a bookshelf...you'll cry with laughter...
Yup, Randy buys a bookshelf is a true masterpiece
Yep. The story with Gumtree and a bookshelf is just hilarius :)
"Randy buys a bookcase" Check it out I pissed myself LITERALLY!
Yea thats one I have watched :D
Randy’s the bookcase is quite a funny one
Yep fantastic yarn that really shows off his schtick!
Love his "Hemingway story" and "Bookshelf from Gumtree"
He's a one eyed, one horned flying purple...oh wrong song!
I bloody love that song when we used to go to caravan parks on holiday as a kid

I just wouldn't know anyone that knows him.
Never seen Randy before, but I don't watch TV. Pretty cool character though and a puppet can push more boundries than a person.
I agree about the boundaries
I've never heard of him either lol 🤷♀️
In Sydney, channels 7, 9 and 10 and their interstate branches are largely, more or less Fox/Sky wannabe's especially 9!
Cheers!
So true.
Lets get one thing straight Rob, you will never be alone in a pub in Australia lol
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, THERE IS A MAN UNDER THE TABLE!!!!!!. Randy is real. 🤪🤪🤪🤪
haha
He'll never replace Agro as the funniest puppet.
Omg he’s soooo much better than Agro. This guy is actually funny and smart too!
Best Aussie puppet - Dickie Knee

that is very obscure! haha
Mandatory Veganism - that's coming 😂😂

Pretty sure it is Sammy J that does the character. Funny fella.
He started as Sammy's side kick but I think he does his own stuff now, not sure if they still do stuff together or who controls/voices him.

Its not Sammy, its Heath McIvor. If it were Sammy he'd be the greatest ventriloquist who ever lived.
Randy is great :)
He and Sammy J are a bloody good Duo

The Project has good guests. It's problem is there one sided political views and social agenda's without debate or balance.😮😮😮

Ooo sorry Rob but the famous purple puppet is Peanut ;) (Jeff Dunham)

Many Australians prefer the lies they get from Channel 7 and Channel 9.

My sense of humour is just different to the puppet
