Work begins on our new Central African Forest habitat

Work has BEGUN on our new Central African Forest habitat, opening next year!
The first turf has been cut for the new habitat, which will house some of the world’s most endangered species, including our existing troop of Critically Endangered western lowland gorillas.
The new area has been designed to evoke a sense of the dense forest and landscape of Equatorial Guinea, where we run one of our largest conservation projects.
