I have a 65 mustang convertible. This past Monday I started to install a TCI four link rear suspension. Today I finished installing the rear crossmember that the coil over shocks bolt to This was not an easy job plus a lot of drilling through the frame . I have all the parts that are attached to the car in place and looking good. I'll start tomorrow on the rear-end housing . I hope to put some video on RUclips of my build. Great looking car your building.
AutoXandTrack I have not run it in any sanctioned events yet. Just a couple club days. I have a blast everytime. Right now I am running the complete Hotchkis suspension keeping with the their leaf spring rear. I have added frame connectors and upper and lower control arms up front. I have swapped all bushings for poly and could tell a significant change swapping to them. I am deployed at the moment and have been watching sadly from afar as a lot of events have been cancelled already throughout the year. I get back soon and am looking forward to taking it out and taking in some events as soon as I get out of quarantine and events start to open.
I am excited to see this beast when it is finished. I have 67 Mustang and would love to run 315’s all the way around it. Thank you for posting up the videos for us to follow your build.
hey i have the same TCI rear suspension. what did you do for exhaust to get it past/around the x-brace. and what size? i have a single turbo setup with 3" downpipe. only thing i can figure is route it around the outside of the car by the rocker (how i have it now, but its super low) or go up and over the crossbrace by the rear of the trans, but that'll be pretty tight.
I haven’t finished the exhaust yet. I raised my transmission crossmember to make it easier to route the exhaust in a traditional way (under the crossmember). The TCI R&D Mustang goes over the crossmember.
Need to do a live on the first drive!
Hmm. Interesting idea. It may depend on how everything is going at that moment lol.
Great job. Starting my 68 Cougar Heidt front end tomorrow. Trying to get as many pointers as I can prior to.

cant wait for the next video.
Can you imagine doing all that work in your home garage without a lift? Having good supporting companies definitely helps!
For sure! I might not have bit off quite so much without help.
Nice job..really cool you have a great shop and help with your build
Enjoying the videos for sure,
Very cool. Should get hundreds of likes!
Hoping I can get my project started this winter. I keep watching for the inspiration.
I get inspired all the time watching other people do awesome car things on RUclips. Glad I could pay it forward.
It's Kool that you get to do most of the work yourself. Going to be a Kool mustang.
keep it up man love these!
Thanks, much appreciated!
Very Good Video cant wait to see it on the track.
That makes 2 of us! Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
Grate video!
Should make me some of those wheel tub panels for mine! I still have holes lol
I'd probably be in the same boat if I didn't have help lol
Loving the update videos! I know you’re itching to drive but at least you have the Camaro to hold you over!
For sure. Definitely nice to have two :)
Love the vids. Would love to see lots more, especially the autocross tips.
Thanks. Info a walkthrough of a friends lap with more tips on episode 17 I uploaded today.
Looking good, Chad!
Love watching the videos! I have been upgrading my nova for auto cross. Love the inspiration on the tech stuff and on your experience on the track.
Thanks! Have you run your Nova yet?

I’m hoping to have the next installment up in a few days! Thanks for following along.
Looking awesome! Keep up the good work. This thing will be a beast.
STILL regretting selling my '68. Look'n good man.
Great progress on the Mustang. I'm sure all the effort will be well worth it once you get this beast on the track.
What awesome builds you have! I can't wait to see the difference in handling with everything all done!!
You and me both!
Looks great! What did you use for undercoating?
I’m still waiting to get that info from the painter I used. I want to be able to touch it up.
Like the wheel tub modification, you may save me some work!
Been really enjoying your videos. What size width rear end did you go with?
Thanks! 59.75” wide.
Nice work Chad! Is it done yet? :D
I wish! I love seeing this thing coming together but I'm not a builder. I'd much rather be driving it than wrenching on it :)

@@AutoXandTrack do you know what size their exhaust is that goes over?
I believe it’s dual 2.5”
@@AutoXandTrack ya, that's what i figured. 3" looks like there's no way its fitting.. may try oval pipe and run under it.
What motor is going in it?
I’m putting the 408w back in it.
I tossed you a like - 5 to go!
We are there! Will do the drawing in the next video!
