I have long loved Tim's music. What I'll NEVER understand though, is the need to put one artist (in this case, Dylan) down in favour of, or in comparison to another. I love Dylan too, have done for 50+ years. Personally, I have gained a great deal of pleasure from the music of both artists (and so many others) and don’t comprehend the negativity. Thanks for posting.
Quite shocking to see a highly talented musician, vocalist like Tim pass at such a young age! I saw him the year before he died but it was the wrong audience and they wouldn't let him finish his set. Black Sabbath and Yes was on the same bill so,need I say more?
Buckley was more popular in England. John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) is a fan. Apparently Todd Rundgren has never heard of Buckley until Lydon clued him in.
That dude’s hair looks like he was in the middle of getting his head shaved, then said “Oh crap ,I don’t have time to finish, gotta go do this Tim Buckley doc”
Not that great go put your stupid brain be in the can this guy was unbelievable 5 octave voice no one today except the great Kate bush heard morning Glory late 60s still a great song this guy today is sadly missed good bless you tim
The soul of Buckley lies in his music not the commentaries on him.

Love Cohen, Lennon, Dylan, Waits and Nick Drake, but this guy is the best !
Throw in Richard Thompson and you've named the best of the best in this list
And Hank Williams, Townes Van Zandt, Jackson C.Frank and Gene Clark.

Wow treblechef, you have quite a few of my favorite muscians and their stories-
I loved Jeff Buckley
Are you from Britain?
Sandy Denny - another of my loves
Awesome
Larry Beckett is such a good songwriter.
Where is Part 3 ??????
Where is Part 3 ? Thanks
The over-analysing of Tim's first album is ridiculous. He was 1p and has some gems. Also, it has the sound of 1966: thus it is bottled magic.

Not enough "beautiful" guys in music anymore.
