I didn't get to watch this live, but Sabbath morning around 5:30am! Once again I enjoyed it. Atonte, I agree with your prerequisite thoughts because in order for me to have a clear understanding I had to go back and watch the other lecture series. Also Pastor, I have always enjoyed watching your lectures so don't let people get to you. There are so many people like me that are getting a good lesson from you.
Have enjoyed your whole prophecy series Pastor Myers. Love the distinction you made between sin and crime. I think too many people forget that the government’s role is not to fix the sin issue in society. Even looking at its criminal code, it isn’t based on moral right and wrong, but on protecting the society it governs. Abortion, may be morally wrong, but it does not impact society in a manner that warrants how it governs. People want to equate abortion with murder, but ignore that taking a life is possible, without it being murder. Christ even suggested, from a moral standpoint, you can murder someone without taking their life. As much as I am against the practice of abortion, I’m also against the government having any involvement in it. Those of us who are opposed to abortion, need to fight against the reasons women choose to go that route. How many woman, who have sought to have an abortion, was primarily driven to that course of action, because of how they were treated by “Christians”, or because they saw how others in their situation were treated, by those who preached about the love of Christ, but never showed the love of Christ. When the same group that is most vocal about getting the government to outlaw abortion, is also the same group that is most vocally against any government programs that aim to help the most vulnerable in our society, it really shows the insidiousness of how the enemy works.

Great, great points made as to crime vs sin-I get it! I wish all church goers could understand this separation between state (the act) and church(the thought). Also, in regards to Secret Societies, watch SDA Mark Cleminson testimony!

“The kingdom of God comes not with outward show. The gospel of the grace of God, with its spirit of self-abnegation, can never be in harmony with the spirit of the world. The two principles are antagonistic. “The natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14. DA 509.1
But today in the religious world there are multitudes who, as they believe, are working for the establishment of the kingdom of Christ as an earthly and temporal dominion. They desire to make our Lord the ruler of the kingdoms of this world, the ruler in its courts and camps, its legislative halls, its palaces and market places. They expect Him to rule through legal enactments, enforced by human authority. Since Christ is not now here in person, they themselves will undertake to act in His stead, to execute the laws of His kingdom. The establishment of such a kingdom is what the Jews desired in the days of Christ. They would have received Jesus, had He been willing to establish a temporal dominion, to enforce what they regarded as the laws of God, and to make them the expositors of His will and the agents of His authority. But He said, “My kingdom is not of this world.” John 18:36. He would not accept the earthly throne. DA 509.2
The government under which Jesus lived was corrupt and oppressive; on every hand were crying abuses,-extortion, intolerance, and grinding cruelty. Yet the Saviour attempted no civil reforms. He attacked no national abuses, nor condemned the national enemies. He did not interfere with the authority or administration of those in power. He who was our example kept aloof from earthly governments. Not because He was indifferent to the woes of men, but because the remedy did not lie in merely human and external measures. To be efficient, the cure must reach men individually, and must regenerate the heart. DA 509.3
Not by the decisions of courts or councils or legislative assemblies, not by the patronage of worldly great men, is the kingdom of Christ established, but by the implanting of Christ's nature in humanity through the work of the Holy Spirit. “As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:12, 13. Here is the only power that can work the uplifting of mankind. And the human agency for the accomplishment of this work is the teaching and practicing of the word of God. DA 509.4
When the apostle Paul began his ministry in Corinth, that populous, wealthy, and wicked city, polluted by the nameless vices of heathenism, he said, “I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 2:2. Writing afterward to some of those who had been corrupted by the foulest sins, he could say, “But ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.” “I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 6:11; 1:4. DA 510.1
Now, as in Christ's day, the work of God's kingdom lies not with those who are clamoring for recognition and support by earthly rulers and human laws, but with those who are declaring to the people in His name those spiritual truths that will work in the receivers the experience of Paul: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” Galatians 2:20. Then they will labor as did Paul for the benefit of men. He said, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.” 2 Corinthians 5:20. DA 510.2

Can somone pls be so kind to explain to me: What about after devil comes with his miracles to convince the rest of the world of the Sunday Sabbath. And they enforce sunday law. Why does Bible say some will have mark on their forehead (meaning they believe that satan is Jesus..".they are converted") and on their hand (they just go along with it). So my question is: the people that follow with the hand (that just follow the system to survive) is not convinced on sunday sabbath anyway and are not convinced devil is Jesus but still follow the system to survive? Because if all "converts" after mirracle that satan does when he impersonates Christ then the Bible must read that all have the mark on their foreheads (meaning all must be convinced). And then the Bible should not even mention that there will be people with mark on their hand (just going with it).

He is free choice but sees abortion as a sin.. it is clear in the scriptures ..those who child sacraficed and offered up their children to baal or caused them to pass through the fire... it is better that a millstone be hung around their neck... it says wich fallen angel taught man what forbidden thing ..one taught abortion ... so yes you have free will ..two paths .. he set beafore us... and don't forget the missing books ..enock ..is mentioned in the bible.. there is two enocks.. so only the book of enock.. is the good one . But yeh abortion is in there .. it is his word ..it will never change... you shall not kill.. abortion is killing and hurting children is really bad to god.. if a baby is gonna die it will on it's own if it does then it is his will but he chooses our suffering .. if we do bad we are cursed and do good we are blessed .. so .. just like the story of the island of lesbos ..and paul converting the lesbians to repent.. and about men and women giving up the natural affection for unnatural ..and about a man laying with another man ..Babylon and Rome.. or like gods wrath on lands like sodom.. his word doesn't ever change the world will pass away beafore and he did not come to do away with the law... we are judged on several things and marked for several things... our hearts say sabbath..the commandments.. lementing..sad over the worlds sin .. etc ..the mark of god.. and being watchmen ... and yeh 501c3 churches are Gov churches.. but nystv and Walter veith expand on these points ..both great lecturers and professors.. if you want to check them out ... like there is gods definition of love and mans... .but ..sin is sin ..
