He came from nothing, with no parents, he is great actor too, since he was bankable, they didnt offer him different roles he intended to, yet he too made a difference in Indian cinema through VFX, all the blockbuster 1000cr movies like KGF happened at SRK's red chillies. Both SRK, Aamir are great. Shame on you to insult another down to earth person whom you have no knowledge of who he is inside. He is very inspirational too. He comes to award shows, so that his parents would watch their son.

I do not know the worthiness of my comment after 6 years of the event,Aamir khan's integrity is in full bloom here,1. when he chose to receive this award over many other awards( more glamour shows than talent honoring awards),2. when he chose not to withhold tears , 3.when he did not take too much time to bring Amol's name to the forefront. KB sir's vocabulary was stunning ,his ability to sum up the past and future of Indian Cinema in as many words is only something that he could have done. And please please please let us not bring Hindu Muslim comments for these events atleast.

When I met Aamir at a premiere for Peepli live, he went out of his way to leave his body guards & took a picture with me (even though he was late for the film showing)...whereas when SRK came to Zine carnival 2008, he was actually charging fans to get their photo taken with him...that just shows integrity of character between them
