Ah ok, that’s def early days. Generally the flat/muted thing can happen because you’re not pressing the string down hard with enough pressure. You’re going to have to go through some pain 😩 but if it was easy everyone… bla bla. Try a simple chord like Em first, it only needs 2 fingers and they won’t get in the way of each other. Also try to put your fingers as close to the actual fret as you can. I’m happy to offer advice if I know the answer. Good luck and stick with it, when it clicks it’s rewarding 👍🎸
