I still can't believe game developers made a better show than Hollywood
why is this so unbelieveable? If the game developers love their game and their fans and community then they try to do it themself and properly instead of leave it in the hands of some Hollywood director who has no Idea of the game, fans and so.....

@@Black0raz0r I mean Hollywood has been at this type of thing for years, and I'm pretty sure this is BSGs first venture into cinema. It's not so much that it's unreal for BSG, it's more sad for Hollywood being so shit at their only job. I mean think how impressive it would be if a bunch of Hollywood film makers banded together to create a game on par with tarkov.
I mean, the Raid series is really compelling in terms of the battle scenes and very well-done in that regard, but I don't think it's a fair comparison to the traditional film industry as a whole. The production was professional, not the game devs out in the woods with DSLRs and gimbals. What's different than "Hollywood" are the *production decisions* to be more authentic than you're going to find from a movie studio with the money men primarily focused on getting a return on their investment out of the general public. BSG made this for players of the game, not for Karen and Brad looking for a diversion from everyday life.
and they didnt put the series behind a paywall like netflix etc. just used it as an ad for the game and casually put it on youtube
honestly shocked some small Russian game developer made a show way more realistic and entertaining then Hollywood has ever come close to. Good shit Nikita
Battlestate didn't make the short, they hired professionals to do it.
Would be nice if they spent the money fixing the current state of the game.

I'm a combat vet and have been through close quarter fighting and I can attest that they truly captured the feel of the fray. Never had anything came close to this! Nothing!

alot use blanks, TWD used to use real guns with blanks then u can see where they lowered the budget on it and used airsoft with edits. if more companies were like battle state man... and every pmc rifle is like 6k a pop with all those zenitco parts

Everyone involved in making the series looked like they had so much fun doing it, even the staff looked like they had too much fun with all the blankfire and constant shootouts. Can't imagine the amount of rehearsals the Bear Actors had to go through to make such believable fights. Good job to all involved.

They probably had SF advisors guide the actors every shot. You can see some of the advisors in this video, the ones with their faces blurred out. They blur their faces out due to them being still active in the military.

как по мне каждый участник съёмок начиная от гримёров и заканчивая актёрами проделали нереальную работу по созданию 5 серий сериала снятого по игре! респект вам и уважения ребята и огромная просьба научите наших режиссёров создавать подобные шедевры!!!

I loved that little clip at 13:23. As an amateur filmmaker, having everyone eagerly crowd around the small camera screen after a good take is such a great moment in every level of filmmaking.

Не будет полноценного фильма, тк во главе процесса - дураки, с главным дураков буяновым во главе угла.
Тот редкий момент когда за отечественное кино не стыдно, но крайне стыдно за главного myдakа буянова и его шайку myдakoв во главе разработки ( да и работников с комьюнити ) и тп. Были бы там на верхах грамотные и дружащие с головой люди, а не зажиревшая шпана, то и идея и игра и фильм были бы лучше, и эти видосы пошли бы куда дальше ютуба. А так слили сколько то там миллионов денег, сняли качественный минисериал, но без нормального сюжета и выложили в рамках тупого утуба, и который потому не окупится впринципе и который увидит маленький процент людей, в основном из числа игроков, и всё.

This level of practical fx, attention to detail & dedication to the craft is unrivaled in the modern age. I've never wanted to be apart of a film set more than this. Would something like this even fly in the states? They're clearly being very safe with the blanks but I feel like US media would have a fuckin field day with something like this. Regardless, we need more ballsy filmmakers like this.
Everyone involved should be really proud of themselves.

I've watched all of the RAID episodes more times than I can remember. I thought it was a movie not for a game. Watching this made me understand why they were all good in the first place.

the passion is real with this show its 10x better than anything ive seen in years and they definitely should keep going if not with raid with another series’s that takes place after it
I knew there must be some seriously professional production companies behind that type of production quality. No nonsense CGI effects but lots of great camera work and action. Much better than most of today's Hollywood movies.

@@dmitryyart6187 бой на лестнице у квартиры пепла, бой у выхода в магазин, бой в туннеле с фсбшниками. Там достаточно много неплохих с точки зрения реализма сцен. Правда, они все короткие, и Пепел больше бегал в фильме чем сражался.

Tarkov is one of my favorite games, and this series holds up to the name. Honestly one of the best action movies I’ve ever seen.

Эти "американские фильмы" снимаются так, потому что это упрощает процесс съёмок и удешевляет их, зачастую. Условную спецтехнику и декорации зачастую легче и дешевле отрисовать, чем арендовывать и строить. Другой вопрос, что в данном случае съёмка на натуре это безусловный плюс и, по сути, единственный выход, ибо есть куча примеров отечественных "блокбастеров", где спецэфекты выглядят мягко говоря не лучшим образом :)

I’ve heard someone say this for BSG, how they made such a good game and show compared to much bugger producers, directors and game developers etc.. it’s because they see this as their passion. Not as another job they have to complete in order to get paid. They love what they do.
