Honestly I like the 4 bladed H-145 the best it’s a classic and I see them a billion times more than and it also looks better with the 4 I’ve never been a big fan with the five bladed ones but they are still cool.
A unit like this is what Jerry Jones uses to fly back and forth from his house to the star to the stadium. In cowboy blue and silver of course. Hey maybe this year he'll get to go to a playoff game
@Stefano Pavone Weight was reduced by over 100Lbs while lifting capacity was increased by 300Lbs for a total of 400Lbs capacity over the 4 bladed version, the 5 bladed version also allows for folding of blades, vibration was eliminated for a very smooth fligh, it's more maneuverable, flight range increased.
This is a great question. I believe the answer is to regulate traffic. Helicopters descending from ~3,000 ft to the ground all across the airport would be a great safety hazard. In this situation, planes would have to be diverted around the helicopters to avoid a conflict. This would make approaches and traffic patterns more difficult. This is they have landings standardized to runways. Having a centralized place to expect landings makes it safer all around. Exceptions happen at airports where there is lighter traffic. A heli pilot can request to take off of land from the taxiway.

Its not a SOLO training, friend. M-SOLO is the registration of the aircraft. You can see in the video at least 2 peoples in that aircratf.

The 5 bladed rotor system is (at the moment) not due until mid 2020 - my understanding is the aircraft has to meet ‘new aircraft’ certification.
