    Due to exhaust emission standards, lower RPM values do not reflect power well. Have you tried to fix it?

      What tuning? Just get the European ecu. No tuning needed. Instant over 90hp. That is one castrated bike US got there. Thanks Obama.

    As happens exactly with the MIVV, around 5000 rpm the small power hole becomes enormous. The slip-on alone is only pejorative. Only the sound benefits.

    Do you think you'd be fine with just removing the spark arrestor?
    it sounds 10x better but i dont want to affect the flow rate too much. Called the honda dealer and they said its fine cause theres a cat where the headers go 2 in 1

    • @Sean-hx7sl
      @Sean-hx7sl  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yeah, the bike ran perfectly fine without the spark arrestor.

      @Sean-hx7sl Did you measure flow rate compared to with it in? Also I was wondering how much backpressure it would have by comparison.

      @@izzy8609 just the dyno run with the air/fuel reading

    • @Sean-hx7sl
      @Sean-hx7sl  6 месяцев назад +2

      The dyno results show how much back pressure was still in the muffler as the run with the muffler removed was almost identical to the run with the muffler in place. Yet the Akra made more power than no muffler at every point in the curve. A testament to the well designed scavenging of the Akra, and that the cat is the biggest restriction in the exhaust.

    Less slippage at the wheel if you sit on it. Love the video and the Akrapovic is what I got for my Transalp.

    Think it’s possible to get 100hp and 75ftlbs at the wheel?
    I run my transalpine without the spark arrestor all the time, sounds much better but I really want it to sounds like a pack of mad dogs.
    I want to do a decat but there zero aftermarket fuel modules right now and no mod shops near me.

      Reasonably? No. With enough head/cam/big bore/compression work who knows. But not likely to get both numbers and certainly not reliably.

    Same muffler we have in the US with the one small hole exit at the spark arrester for the exhaust, it's a very restricted exhaust can. And look inside it, cause it gets worse exhaust flow than any other mufflers I have ever seen. The Euro Transalp 750 mufflers maybe less restricted.

      It’s just the 3 bolts at the exhaust exit and it slides right out.

    How many hp and torque at the crank? Honda Canada claims 91hp.

    • @Sean-hx7sl
      @Sean-hx7sl  10 месяцев назад +2

      Where did you see Honda Canada claiming the HP? I've heard of Canadian dealers telling people lies about having the Euro spec bikes, but have not seen anything claimed from Honda themselves.
      We have the same bike as the US, so around 83 hp. Confirmed by the HP peak as the US bike is claimed at 8500 vs the Euro spec at 9500.
