For all the people who are still asking or commenting on the silly intake. For 1 I don't have this intake anymore. Engine is currently on its way out LS swapping. This is essentially the same exact intake as the expensive raved about RAISS and SSRI intakes that most serious LT B-Body guys run. Only thing missing is that plastic shroud which I've waited months to hear back from Clear Image Automotive about and still haven't. Just take a look through a photo album of any major event focused on these cars. Nothing special. Neither are those $400+ intakes when you look at actual real life data with these cars. Putting too much stock in intakes (and exhaust) is probably why so many folks have slow LTs. Mine was a high miles freak of nature. I never over spent on mods with that engine. I put lipstick on an overworked pig and she still liked it just check my 0-60. Was spinning like hell on street tires and still booked it faster than many much more expensive newer "more powerful" cars. Can't believe the hype 👎🏿🤣🤣. I'm sure I've actually already touched on this before so check out my other videos 😉 I've always recommended the stock intake with swiss cheese mod, home plate delete, and first plate delete. Best intake that works in *real* life for a whopping $0.00
b body LT1 cars are the most slept on underrated cars! I 4:10 locker swapped my LT1 94 buick roadmaster last week and swapped a 94 Impala SS ECU in and this car lives for burnouts now
That's the first thing I did when I got my 96 Buick Roadmaster sedan. It was 1° last week and I didn't have any problems getting it started or running. I'm all about free mods. Cheap mods are good too. I made a homemade cold air intake out of sewer pipe and flex pipe mounted my cone filter behind the front bumper. Also have dual 2 1/2" Flowmaster 40 series and an x-pipe that I made myself with scrap pipe and a flux core welder. PCMforLESS tuned PCM to delete the emissions and VATS and a few other things. I haven't had the time or money to do everything I want. But I do what I can with what I got.
i did that on my 1992 e36 bmw. Same setup your talking about and yes you have the correct idea of how it works too. good work. It def helps and you can feel it in the cold weather for sure.
Wzup G… just came across your vids and I can really appreciate all the knowledge 💯… you know a lot about the LT1 and I fool wit you the long way.. I had a 95 ss back in 2000 and I hate I let it go… getting another one soon…. Keep up the great content 💯 .. I’m starting my page and will also be putting up car content…. Stay tuned…….
Man I love that Impala. Thats a really slick ride bro, glad I found this vid! I'm gonna do this to my 95 Camaro Z28 this weekend, I'm in NC so I don't need hot water in my throttle body.
Hey brother love what your doing putting out information out I was Thinking about buying a impala ss 94-96 and putting a dart 427 1300hp should I leave 460 transmission alone or upgrade to a more high performance one i heard they break like glass thank you 🙏
Hey bro, great video.. got an unrelated question for you. I gotta Roadmaster that's pretty much the same set up. What's your highway speed RPM with thos 3.73s on that thing? I know you 0-60 looks good. I got a 2.90 something in the rear of the Buick I think and I'm about to switch gears. Just looking for some advice on what to throw in it.
I'm usually at around 2000-2400 most the time when I'm on the interstate. Not too mad the 3.73s is makes for a good balance between performance and streetability. A good tune really helps too. Only issues I'd say I had with the change is traction issues but I'm to blame for that. Takes some getting use to 🤣
That's what's up.. my Tahoe is right at 2500rpm at 80 with a 4.10. when I do regear I'm switching to something with positive traction too. Thanks for the info.. really appreciate it. You gotta post a 0-60 vid bro.
So I need a little advice.I got the ninety four buick row master with the l t one I was talking to this guy I and I was told what I could get a chip put in it and get a bigger throttle body and I do want a cold Airtake flow what you think
@@TheBeastKane I had the opti replaced and it's kinda idk how to explain it skipping stuttering when running.. maybe spark plugs and wires ?should I clean my throttle? And filter for cold air intake? I had car on OfferUp 😱 but I'm taking it down I'm keeping her 🔥
It was upgraded with 3.73s years ago. The only thing that wasn't modded in this video was the engine internals pretty much. IMO the gearing saves this heavy car dramatically lol.
@@da6thmane094 you're probably seeing the resonators most likely. Mines were deleted before I bought the car and added my own twist. The Fleetwoods are a bit more upscale though and have more features so who knows. Actually it's the only LT car with actual traction control and a real digital dash IIRC

Getting ready to do the throttlebody coolant bypass on my LT 1 Z-28. I’ve heard mixed signals on it. One way to find out. Appreciate the video.

EGR delete can be done on the cheap also. Working on that now.
I have it deleted on my 95 firebird, but it does nothing for performance, its just to clean up the engine bay. I also have the evap deleted.
Bro thank you.. this make total sense and I have that set up

Check the vacuum
@@nikothevirgo I will thank you!!
Why did you get rid of the Y intake and just put the single one?
Wanted the more "ram air" or RAISS design over the snorkel lol. Just missing a shroud
My 96 caprice steering knuckle broke hit a tree an 3 plugs are loose and I don't know where they go
Try to post pics of the plugs on impalassforum.com
4.11 gears with a locker and full exhaust with x pipe. That'll wake that car tf up!

I got 4.3 what a hockey puck do
It allows you to delete the air silencer on top of the intake
Delete rear cats
There are no rear cats.
