I just moved from a 5x10 galvanized trailer to a 6x12 aluminum trailer similar to this one. This video goes over exaclty what I need to do to mount a box to the new trailer. Lots of things I would have missed are covered. Great job.
I always carry a 6x6 about a foot long with a wedge on one end. You never need a jack with a block when you have a tandem trailer- just drive the good tire up on the block and it will lift the flat one. Very nice trailer.
I'm going to put the Masdam rope winch in there eventually. It's the P2 and they sent all the accessories. It's an awesome machine but extremely expensive. Thanks for watching.
@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 I was referring to flexzilla and Uber flex garden and pressure washer hoser. Fantastic hoses. But they have aluminum fittings. I think most everyone would be willing to pay for a version with brass fittings
Northern Tool is one of the worst. For a company that started out as a mail order business they do not know how to pack anything. They just opened a new store a few miles from me and they are also way over priced for me. Glad you were able to find a better deal at Lowes. Lowes also offers a military discount of 5%. Great install and thanks for the video.
That's a great addition to the trailer, I have a similar aluminum trailer and would like to add that box... do you by chance have the lowes link or product number? Great to put my straps and spare bottle jack so I don't have to keep them in the truck.
This was the Lowes number 3429647 I bought. Looks like it went up $10 today. Definitely go to your local store and pick through them for the best one. You may not need one this big for just some straps. Thanks for watching.
What is a L? The box is from Lowes and is lightweight but works great. The trailer is a ight duty Sport Haven with 7000 pound GVW. Thanks for watching.

Most people will just screw them to the tongue but I don't feel comfortable adding holes to mine. I am adding e track now. Thanks for watching.
Do you have a link to the bolts you used?
I like overbuilt installs thanks for the idea of heat shrink
Just can't be too careful when it comes to aluminum. Thanks for watching.
Very professional as usual. The hitch looks very interesting. Very best wishes from England...
Thanks. I cannot wait to see how the scale in the hitch works. Thanks for watching.

That's a good idea. I have always carried the small hydraulic jack. Thanks for watching.
Now u need a 2000lb winch just in case ... Keep it up brother I can't wait to see the new xtool u got.....

I wish hose manufacturers knew about dissimilar metals fusing.
There definitely are some questionable areas. I may put Tef-Gel on some areas. Thanks for watching

It's funny how sometimes you watch videos and while you don't need what they're showing you, you want one anyway. LoL
Remember it's a lot cheaper to buy one at Lowes when you eventually need one. Shiny things do that to me also. Thanks for watching.
That Craftsman storage box looks great on your trailer and it has plenty of room to store everything you need.
I was going to write something similar! LOL I just love watching their channel no matter what they post!

I gave up after 2 tries from Northern and they would not pack the third one better so I gave up. Thanks for watching.

Do you have a link to the UBolts?
These are what fit my trailer amzn.to/3LbNtXU . Not sure if they will fit others. Measure your tongue to be sure. Thanks for watching,
Does this tow that trailer
Any vehicle that will tow 7000 pounds will work.
How many L is this? What’s the specs pls?
