Erica, Do you ever get/look at submissions from those without an agent? I find it hard to submit for jobs and/or get auditions without one, because I'm missing that connection. But in order to invite an agent to watch you at such-and-such time on a tv show or send them a demo reel, you need material to make it up of first and you can't do that without having an AGENT to get you those jobs. Such a catch 22...
+Erin J McFarland I agree with you as I have been saying the same for years. With many professions, employers are looking for those candidates with experience in the field. However, how will a person gain such experience if everyone wants you to already have it? I have to sometimes chuckle at this fact to keep from feeling down about missing out on yet another opportunity :-/ lol
@arvold,Of course whomever is representing you will only get paid until you do, but what is the reasonable percentage rate of earnings an agent should get from an aspiring actor/actress who has experience but not all that much work in front of a camera?
I love how interactive and passionate you guys are when you speak. It's the best
Another helpful piece of information. Thank you Erica and Richard!
Can the sound levels be adjusted please. I'm a little hard of hearing and the CC isn't working properly. Thank you.
