Evertime I read up on this synastry aspect they always say Mars is the one who pursues the moon. And wants moon really bad.I've been the moon in one relationship. The Mars did persue at first but I wanted to keep it going, I pinned and yearned for years! I am now the Mars in a relationship and the moon is acting exactly how I was in the other relationship when I was the moon.I haven't perused them, they have persuade me. And I'm the Mars woman and he moon man.

My daughter has the conjunction with her dad in Cancer (she's the moon). I was 29 when I had my first kid and I wouldn’t recommend having a baby until you’ve lived your life. Not telling you what to do because new relationships are so fun in the beginning, but please be responsible before you miss out on your fun years!!

From one mother to another... I also have this conjunction (exact) with my son ! In Leo. But I am the mars and he is the moon. I have had to a apologize a couple of times for accidentally hurting his feelings.
We have a good relationship though.... smoothed over by many other positive aspects (Like my Taurus venus conjunct his Taurus Sun / IC exactly).

I had this with my ex-husband. his Mars was in Libra conjunct my Moon and he would manipulate me with words to the point where I agreed to things/with things that I was SO opposed to. "Gets scared and goes along" describes my 10 years with him to a tee. Pluto...I think his Pluto was conjunct my Mars. Can't believe the control he had. I would never go back (even though asked me to).

I'm currently the Cancer Mars person (I'm female) and he's the Cancer moon..I'd definitely say the negative aspects of the conjunction are mitigated here because an evolved / conscious Cancer Mars person is really the most sensitive and considerate Mars placement. I know for sure that if I genuinely hurt the moon person I would be compassionate towards them instead of saying "they're too sensitive," because my Mars placement is sensitive in and of itself

My mom and I have this aspect. I’m the moon she’s the mars
oh my, I dated a guy whose mars conjunct my moon AND vice versa. my Sagittarius moon and his Aquarius moon. Many aspects with our personal planets, his moon falls in my 7th, too. But his Uranus with my moon, it stalled.... my 4th house jupiter is in scorpio, and he has some scorpio, 4th, 8th and 12 house stuff happening, major mother issue aspects in his chart. He told me some of it, but seeing his chart, yikes. poor guy, he has my sympathy. His ex wife had an ongoing affair... learning from his chart, it's also no surprise.
however, since I absolutely refuse to play mind games, there were a lot, seemed to surround power struggles despite a ridiculously deep connection I have never felt before, (yes pluto was part of the the influence, some neptune as well, overall our synastry is crazy intense! So the new guy I'm dating, him and I share mutual juno conjunct moon... his brother has mutual mars conjunct moon with me.. What is the intensity of this in the sign of cancer?
I'm not a professional astrologer or anything, but in my opinion on the low side of the relationship I imagine a lot of moodiness. Both Mars and Moon can tend to take slights very personally and hold grudges. It might not usually be open warfare like the fire signs, it will be more passive aggression. But if one of you feels pushed in a corner it can be, with a lot of hurt feelings on both sides afterwards. I think it would be important for you guys when you're angry with each other is to step away from the situation, work out your anger on something else, and once you're calm then come back discuss it objectively. It would be important to put on the kid gloves when discussing your issues because if you make the other person feel like shit, such as if you try to blame each other, it will be hard to not take your discussion too personally. Also, Mars especially needs to keep their anger in check because Mars in Cancer can take things too far and end up really hurting the Moon Cancer.
I also imagine Mars being very protective of the Moon. If someone hurts the Moon person, they're going to have to face the wrath of the Mars partner (and Cancer's wrath can be very frightening if someone hurts a loved one.)
On the high side, these two are very security oriented, so what she said about the Mars providing for the Moon would definitely be the case for Cancers in terms of emotional and physical security. The Moon will feel very safe with Mars and a more sensitive Mars will feel like they can be themselves with the moon, and therefore Mars will open up easier to a Cancer Moon than with other signs. In a romantic relationship, sex would be very loving and sweet. There'd be lots of emotional bonding.
And what she said about the Mars wanting to get the Moon pregnant, this would definitely be the case with this combination in Cancer, as a Mars Cancer often wants a family anyway. A Mars in Cancer guy will probably get turned on at the thought of making his Moon partner pregnant, and he'd be very excited to see her when she starts to show. He might not be able to keep his hands off her lol.
Of course other aspects and planets will affect this, but that's my take on this aspect in Cancer itself. Sorry about the novel! My moon is in Cancer so your question really piqued my interest.
That’s interesting bc I’m a Taurus moon and was obsessed with this guy for years with his Mars in Taurus. But he had zero romantic feelings for me, I waited for years with hope and I we had a friendship that wasn’t even that strong but the obsession was one sided. No attraction, only on my side. I'd be interested in you talking about the Moon Mars conjunction in composite charts as opposed to in synastry.
Also consider progressions my bf moon conjunct my mars and Venus, but his progressed Venus conjunct my mars exact when we got together, is progressing right to my Venus/mars midpoint & falls right n my 7th house...my progressed mars as well is is more compatable with his progressed moon & my progressed mars makes an exact easy goin trine with his natal mars conjunct his natal sun....but that said this is an accurate description at times for sure lol
This is really interesting because we do make each other feel this way so much sometimes but I feel like I’m the not tough one and I’m the mars, I’m also the female tho. However also, his progressed mars is trining my natal moon nicely & my progressed moon is sextiling his natal mars nicely...so there’s so much different feelings going on but that DOES describe us, there can be so much love & comfort yet he can push my buttons like no one ever has and we’ve had epic fights, horrible:( and sex lol. The other was my mars on his moon, uttaraphalguni, we went to school together from 3rd grade thru 12th. Good friends.
