Jason Aldeans band kicks ass. They specialize in Country and they could pretty-much play any metal or rock song if they wanted to. They are truly talented musicians, no doubt about it.
oh my gosh, i cannot express how much i'm glad he made that comment @7:43 about what we call "country" today. finally someone acknowledges the sound of now vs then
The cool thing about PRS SE guitars (That one being a Clint Lowery signature) is that they play just as good as the main line guitars made in MD. I own a Santana SE and love it.
In case no one mentioned it the prs signature model is a Clint Lowry se. He is the guitarist for Sevendust. I know it's longer scale but I'm pretty sure it's not baritone scale length. Kind of in the middle.
I really like that this one dude makes a good comment about the PRS SE Soapbar guitar, most of the time people hate cheap guitars, but if something sounds good, it sounds good.
Reminds me of the rare stories of a famous musician preferring something that's cheaper and in the lower tier category. Two examples I remember were Steve Morse preferred Peavey stock speakers over the premium Black Widow speaker and the other one was Robin Trower loved his Mexican made strat more than the Amerian or Japanese models. True story. HA! Of course we don't know how modified the Mexican strat was? Still a cool story.
I don't know anything about this band, but it's likely that these guitarists are just hired session players. They might prefer metal and build their rigs accordingly, and then just use what they have for their gigs.
Logan Hutchins Could be. I play for a Texas country band and use Schecter hellraisers and 5150/Fender yale reverb combo. Id much rather be playing metal......but country pays pretty good haha
That’s only because the minihumbuckers on a deluxe are not a usual LesPaul that most guys reach for. Standards and Customs are way more in demand. That’s why there was only 200 made of the deluxe. It’s pretty much a specialty that is rare. Even the P-90’s are more popular than mini humbuckers.
I wish they show what aldeans runnin his acoustic thru, cause it always sounds like its a 100' cable going into a transistor radio with a walkie talkie infront of it going to the PA
@@robertfinch6602 I've said it before, and I stand by my opinion -- there is no acoustic guitar, at any price point (including JA's custom J-200), that sounds good plugged in with just a piezo pickup. It just ain't gonna happen. Some of the guitars that have a mic as well as the pickup sound pretty good... Like Tommy Emmanual's guitar... but for the most part, a plugged in acoustic sounds like dookie to me.
Totally Awesome Rock on! I love the solo end on She likes it. 🎶climactic ending. All the progressive tunes.delivrering great music 🎶 for all generations .
I like her, i know she knows what she is talking about but her questions sound like just a girl asking questions. "Is it heavy?" Shes great. It also sounds like these guys are screwing with each other while they are being interviewed.
Tully Kennedy is a beast on the bass. Plus, his bass took a bullet for him during the Vegas shooting. Would of took it in the gut if he wasn't wearing it. Nicest guy too!!
So it must have been an old Sadowsky, since from a certain recent point Roger started chambering all new basses... heavy wood saved his life, or maybe it just wasn't still his time!
"Uhh yeah this is a guitar... It says Gibson on it... it has like 6 strings or whatever on it. There's these metal magnet things... and yeah it's pretty cool I like to play it."
15:40, i wonder if any of them shit themselves when kurt or jack show up and theyre like holy ****, youre jason aldeans guitarist. i wonder if any of the sellers recognize these guys.
first guy says yeah this les paul is one of 200 made its nothing special. second guy is asked "so is this just a standard telecaster?" yeah it sure is just a standard tele. its one Fender made for me.....lol
Quite a bit of PRS in this RR. I want to like this interviewer, butt, dude, she's just holding the mic for +80% of this video. I hope she gets better. I imagine it can be nerve-wracking conducting an interview in this environment. Good luck, new lady!
She's a little stiff but seems knowledgeable. She's no Rebecca Dirks but she's much better than John Bolger (or whatever his last name is). Great Rig Rundown!

Using a Clint (SevenDust) PRS sig guitar to play country.......awesome.
I have one. It's a really good guitar.

Jesus, these country dudes have more metal equipment than most metal players...

Logan Hutchins these guys ain't hired session players they've been in the same band for 10 years and probably one of the best out there
gasolinechlorine That's because most of any backing country band are metal guys who realized rock doesn't pay much haha
+Logan Hutchins. these guys are in the band. Kurt Allison is a session guy who has been playing for Jason since his debut back in 06-07
"One of 200, nothing special."
OKAY.
lmao that was my exact thought
hahaha,, yeah thats what i said
I was like...🤯 sheesh...spoiled much?

Probably pretty hard to cut through the mix w/ those crunchy guitars..🧐

He rums it directly into the PA. He used to use a Fender Acoustasonic but couldn't fit it on the bus so he just started running direct
I'd love to see a new one for these guys.
Right! Probably completely different.
Gotta love the guys jamming Hysteria by Muse in the background!
1:28 is that hysteria by muse?
that intro kinda reminds me of the guitar solo from Extreme - Rest In Peace
hey, there's a good one for ya! Rig Rundown - Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt
HOLY SHITU! MAKE THIS A REALITY!!!
I have the same PRS in cherry sunburst at 12:16. Mine's got the trem and humbuckers instead if p90s in it.
What kind of incence does he use though? On the pedal board
i saw a documentary about being a touring/studio musician in nashville and these guys where in it it was a good watch
How come you haven't done Nuno Bettencourt of Extreme yet?!
make a rundown for Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt
PLEASE DO!!
Love Kurt's tone.🎸
She did a pretty darn good job. Got the low down on all of them. Now I'm off to see Rebecca!
whats up with the reflection thing ?
I know or rather, I'm sure, It's damned impossible but a rig rundown on Robin Finck or Buckethead would be loved by atleast this guy!
Ernie Ball did a "String Theory" with Finck that's pretty great. 👍
what color is his telecaster, midnight wine?
"I like the way they treat the pickups." "Are those pickups stock in this model?" "Uhhhh they weren't." Okay, got it.
Just because he changed them, doesn't mean he doesn't like them. Did you not hear his reasoning why or are you deaf?

Lots of good stuff ..luv it

Your sick..

fUP420babe lol
agreed WTF!!!
very coooool!!!!

i just wanna hang out with Kurt and talk about music lol
Wanna hear the gear!

Davide Dondi it was a Lakland 5er he was playing, swamp ash body.
He has a prs silver sky now for big green tractor
Bad Ass 🎸 Kirt Allison
Jack Bower? This guy rocks.
WTF is Rebecca when you need here? :)
She left PG ages ago.
She works for PGS now. She does the daily Tone Reports. (Must watches if you are into gear!)
Does this mean they'll be doing a rundown of Florida Georgia Line?
"Uhh yeah this is a guitar... It says Gibson on it... it has like 6 strings or whatever on it. There's these metal magnet things... and yeah it's pretty cool I like to play it."
Lol..fr!
The twin tube is a japanese pedal... or at least I saw it on a japanese site
This is made by Seymour Duncan basically ! ^^ So american company (but might be built in asia) ;)
15:40, i wonder if any of them shit themselves when kurt or jack show up and theyre like holy ****, youre jason aldeans guitarist. i wonder if any of the sellers recognize these guys.
these are the BIG DOGS...they HUNT....true pros..awesome
Let the guy talk.
Fun Fact-Jason Aldean originally wanted to be a metal singer
not true.
Not trying to be rude but how do you know it’s not
@@bodavis7745 find me an article where he said he wanted to be a metal singer.

Bolinger.
God the "relicing" on that EVH looks like hell. What a piece of junk
they dobt deserve to play those amps
Unless he plans to do the interviews topless, someone needs to take the mic away from her. She has no concept of what questions to ask.
I know this is old but this chick has to be the WORST interviewer EVER
