Bargain! That pizza looked really tasty. As you said, everything on the menu was very reasonable. Nothing wrong with mixing up what you are eating, you've tried several Greek dishes so why not have something more familiar as well.
Absolute perfection that pizza, what a deal !! Ive been to greece a few times, loved the food, always drizzle some olive oil and salt on the chips :)

Iceland pizza, 12 chips and cheap local beer. Cost them £1.64 max. Bit of a rip off really
There is a store owned by Iceland in Zante 😂. I think Kerry Katona opened it after getting preggo with her 14th kid while on holiday.

maybe try a few small plates as a meal things like gigantes stuffed vine leaves courgette keftedes meat keftedes and stuffed pepper and tomatoes aka gemista

Can’t argue at that for the price including a drink ! I think perhaps it’s a frozen base and the restaurant add their own fresh toppings on, which for the price is perfectly acceptable ! Can see you are getting a nice tan Deano, hope you are enjoying the lovely Greek sunshine ☀️😊

The last kind of place I would go to when abroad, strictly traditional where the locals would eat for me personally.
Would of preferred the chips on a separate plate instead of dumped on the pizza.
I feel like every place just adds a handful of chips when they know you are British haha
Deano doesn't know food (not even moussaka) but still a reasonable price for a tourist hotspot and it's cheap and cheerful just what you want as a youngster abroad 😂
You only know things when you are told or you visit places and try things, that is what I am doing now

Yeah the base will be pre-made, but the toppings definitely fresh. Fine by me too 😁
@@JustDeano A place I worked bought stonebake bases pre sauced frozen, cheaper than making them when costing for time and obviously much more convenient. The staff got fed and 90% of time it was pizzas they wanted, some would bring a sandwich or similar and then get their pizza made last thing we cooked to take home. The menu was good enough without the pizzas and the head chef had trained in Italy but was still happy to use them.

Deano, I'm from Halifax and I've seen you around a couple of times and didn't want to interrupt your videos. I think you need to do a review of 2 places that me and missus love. Engine in Sowerby Bridge which is Michelin Star without the pricetag and the Boothwood Rishworth's Retro menu, which is their early bird special.
Come and say hi mate. I've heard good things about Engine but never actually been. I'll check it out.
Was it good? Very cheap prices for a tourist area. I eat regional food when I am on vacation, but if you are in vacation, eat whatever you want.
Yeah i have tried plenty of Greek food on this trip (more to come too) but for this one i thought it was a great deal. I like a budget deal 😂

Never going to get me paragliding (scared of heights) haha. Maybe a swim in a video next week (watch this space). We will be doing some activities in Lanzarote next month but on my own it is not as much fun.

@@iansims2984 I get the smaller (9" I think but hand made so they vary, sometimes they look nearly as big as the normal size) and a pint of Pepsi for less than a fiver off the deli section. About another quid for an alcoholic drink I think.

Looks like you should have had it cut in to 8 sections, looks like it was cut into 12 sections, which is too much for anybody, how much were the chips I didn't quite catch it?
