TY for advices! I used same spells in act 1, in act 2 I have used Drill Cannons( act 2 I made even faster then Act 1). In act 3 I have used Drill Cannons, after web I have used Flying Frenzy, then Loom. Then I quickly clicked Bristle+Off-guard+Moon flute and Final sting and all worked.
So in case someone has no reservations on using final sting: with the Bristle + Moon Flute + Final Sting combo I was able to kill him at 50% health in phase 3, just as he managed to cast Charybdis, but before the tornadoes appear. This means that I was able to skip most challenging mechanics in this fight. One caveat, he needs to have repelling spray on. Either he always starts phase 3 with repelling spray, or it's random; if the latter, either follow this video to complete the fight normally, or reset for the sting strategy.
@Saddenscar not yet 😅 I only got my clear about an hour after I watched the video, and by then I was so frustrated I needed to take a break. I'll do my best to remember to let you know how it goes, though! I'll give it another try before I go to bed in a bit
OK! If you're still having trouble some skills that helped along with the video: Toad Oil, Devour, Shock Strike, Gobskin and Reflux. I also went with the DPS mimicry and used White Wind for healing when at 50%. It still took me a few hours, but I eventually got it.
if he casts that plaincrack 2 times in a row hes gonna do a front aoe that can hit you with death debuff, you can use exuviation to remove that or just stay behind the boss while it does plaincrack, the 3rd part is much easier with loom but you can use diamondback to tank the meteor if you still cant move
Powerful spells can trivialize this encounter. Bristle + Breath of Magic at the start of each act; For the 2nd and 3rd phases, Sprint+Swiftcast it to ensure it gets in before he put it up. For the 1st and 3rd phases you can Moon Flute, for the 2nd phase Moon Flute will probably leave you unable to kill the Angons. Not only do spells that miss count, spells cast while out of combat count so you can just whiff non-targeted casts out of combat (perhaps while waiting for Swiftcast to come back up between 2nd and 3rd phases?) Spell Ideas: Sea Shanty (Water) Feather Rain (Wind) Shock Strike (Lightning) Glass Dance (Ice) Surpanakha (Earth) Mortal Flame (Fire) Abyssal Transfixion (Piercing) J Kick (Blunt) Winged Reprobation (Piercing) Ruby Dynamics (Slashing, can kill both Angons in one GCD) Phantom Flurry (Blunt) Mountain Buster (Blunt)
Yeah, I would’ve won but they kind of cheated in the third round preventing me from moving, and I had no choice, but to take the hit and Insta die the entire fight really unfair
when it does the 4 tornado things in the corners, then you run directly to the bottom edge of the circle any direction, it usually does that front line AOE while you run in that direction, so dodge that and it will cast web on you, if you stand on the edge of the circle and it webs you then it would cast meteor, but you can do two looms to teleport away from the meteor and end up behind the boss, then you can attack it before it switches from magic protect to physical protect vice versa
One of the easier fights for me to tackle. Skill be damned, I hit him with a Full Final Sting in Act 3 as soon as the Charybdis and Plaincracker started coming out.
None are "needed" if you're not doing the achievement. Kamikaze if you wanna skip phase 3. Any magic spell for phase 1. Any physical skill for phase 2. Literally all you need.
I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this but it seems to me that the fights have changed for act 3 because one you can't use it anymore and to is seems like they've increased the size of the tornadoes in their increase the AOE size for meteor you can't use loom cuz it doesn't go far enough and flying frenzy doesn't go far enough I've tried using diamondback the tank through I tried using diamondback two-tank through it but it's just not I don't know what to do
I have become an expert at the first two acts but the last one, I can never get past the meteor even with flying frenzy. Either I'm too far from him and can't do it or when I use it to get to Azul I'm still within the meteor range and can't move so its an instant death anyway.
You must run at the opposite side when he cast the meteor and then use sprint when under web so you can run slowy to close the little gap for casting loom or flying frenzy. ;)
i cant beat this guy at all, idc about the achievement just want to beat him for the quest but i just cant do it... i get to the third phase and i die :/ i do double loom, still get hit by tornado. i also tried final sting but i still die before does.
Understand I just tried at least 40 times and the loom doesn't go far and the flying frenzy isn't helping me either. I'm just stuck at thar mission too lol.

I think it's waaaay too hard to say where to loom, that's basically my problem, i can't see the marker from all the wind happening. 😢

You probably have Mighty Guard on.
Aetheric Mimicry then copy someone who is DPS or a BLU with dps mimic active.
so first phase i use magic spells then psychical .. on last phase i take damage wheni attack him what should i do :(
You need to look at what buff he uses -- it switches back and forth in the last phase.

More DPS. It's a DoT that does around 500 potency over its duration.

Literally every single thing he does can be avoided. If you're dying before he does, it's because you're not avoiding mechanics.
