- Undefeated food challenge! A English Fish Supper meant to feed 10 people,  this is the biggest fish and chips challenge. This English style fish and chips with a beer batter, mushy peas, curry sauce, baked beans,  English pies, and of course, fried fish and french fries also known as chips, was at the proper pie company in Haines City Florida! this British style, fish and chips is loved all around the world, and using the traditional cod I definitely know why! We had one hour to complete this massive seafood challenge in order to get the meal for free, otherwise we would be paying the $120 price tag. This truly was an authentic English restaurant, using all the traditional cooking items, flavors, and even selling a lot of English confectionery! This English Fish Supper challenge weighed about 10 pounds and featured 6 pounds of fish alone and was exactly like being in the United Kingdom and a United Kingdom food challenge! ! Can we defeat this unbeaten food challenge? Or will the undefeated food challenge beat us? For a true experience to the United Kingdom definitely check this place out, their pies, baked goods, and fish and chips were excellent!

My favorite thing about Joel, other than him being a great challenge eater is how he is just a flat out nice honest guy that is super respectful and appreciative. Unfortunately that's a rare thing to come across these days.

He's said before that the one's that he may finish but have a struggle with are the really spicey challenges understandably so too I can't understand how he gets over all that hotness lol

It is a personal choice if people decide to put salt and vinegar on their fish & chips and not done by everyone.

I'm surprised the sarsons vinegar didn't get to much we sprinkle it on over here some heavy some light coverings but never seen anyone dunk it in vinegar 👏🏻 salt and vinegar on battered cod and chips with curry sauce and a slice of bread 🤤🤤🤤 Joel kills it every challenge 👌🏻

Hello from San Antonio, Texas. This is a walk in the park for you. I remember when they cut you off from an "all you can eat" Fish & Chips and I think you ate something like 18 much smaller pieces. You always make your challenges look easy!! I love fish & chips as well as Tarter sauce. Be safe, enjoy your trip.

@@ratlerman7318 definitely depends on where you go. Some of ours have more batter than fish others are tight and literally dip it with a slither. Also I've noticed how different fish & chips is depending on location. South east was defo not one of my faves 😅

Up home in Maine mince meat is made with deer meat. everything is ground up and cooked for a long time. There are no chunks of fruits> Just amazing !
Back in the day, mince meat had meat in it. To make food stretch, the use to add whatever meat they had on hand to it. My mom made some with venison in it. It was wonderful, very tasty!

My brother makes a homemade venison mincemeat that actually does contain meat along with apples, raisins, orange peel, and lots of spices. Very rich, very dense, and very delicious!

Tartar sauce yes yes yes I am from New England. I love it with my fish.
Great work. Cod is more common in southern England while up north and in Scotland haddock is more the choice although both are available. Mushy peas and gravy are more northern while saveloy's are very southern England. Looks pretty good, especially the chips as I've never seen them in the states like we have back home

You need to come to the UK for a proper fish and chips. Try Cornwall or Devon they are awesome for a good chippy. Not sure what challenges there are in these areas. It all looks delicious though and well done. Curry sauce or mushy peas are a must with fish and chips but your missing bread and butter. Lots of salt and vinegar on your fish and chips too. Personally I'm not a fan of tartar sauce, but I do love some fresh lemon on my battered fish with the salt and vinegar.

It’s called Mincemeat because the pies were actually filled with meat. Beef, rabbit, pork, and wild game. This was initially in the early Middle Ages. The actual minced meat was later with minced fruit.
Mince Meat Pie DOES have beef in it. Many don't anymore, but if you buy None Such Brand as I have one in my pantry, it has a scant amount of beef in the ingredients. It is delicious. The past recipes of centuries ago had more meat in them. I love the fish and chips challenge. Everything looked so good and YES, I love, love, love malt vinegar in ketchup, on fries/chips and on fish!
I've only ever seen beef suet in the ingredients of mince pies & obviously Christmas puddings too. I'll look out for that brand to try. I make all Christmas cakes, pudding, pies etc myself but it's essential to have the odd premade box for those unexpected yuletide guests.

Love your work. I've been thinking about Aussie challenges for when you get sorted and visit the Lucky Land. It just came to me then... one of them has to be a number of "Pie Floaters". Usually served in Adelaide, South Australia. Back in the old days, there were pie vans that served piez all hours of the day and night. The ovens that kept them hot back then, weren't great, and the top of the pubs would get VERY hard. So some legend, came up with the "Pie Floater". The Pie would be served upside down on a plate, swimming in a bed of Mushie Peas! I've had a few, and they're legit gold! Definitely one of the challenges on your "Fair Dinkum Aussie Tour"!

Chippy means Chip shop, and I gotta admit those chips looked a bit different than our traditional chips in England, almost got a frozen chips sort of vibe. Also in the U.K the average person very rarely have Tartar sauce with our fish, we either stick with salt and vinegar or curry sauce 👍🏻 and the pies in our chippy’s are called Pukka pies and are a lot bigger. Well done Joel you dominated the fish 👏🏻
Depends where you're from, any chippy around here are Hollands pies, even Bowens. Tartar seems more a southern thing in chippy but at home id use TarTar with my fish

I remember being really hungry once and going to a Chinese chippy and got steak pudding, chip, gravy, beans, peas and curry sauce. Lady was like "All togetha" damn right. Was a mess but bloody good 🤣
Where was the gravy? Or is that just a northern thing? Has tha nowt moist?😂 Also, where in uk do chippies serve coleslaw? But apart from that and the tiny pies, it all looked bangin and very authentic. That’s a normal single portion of chips from my local too, we order 1 chips for two of us.
To me the chips looked genuine, tartare sauce at home…yes Holland pies in the North, pukka pies mostly from supermarkets etc, not chippies.

I wouldn’t know now. Chips are expensive at fish shops now compared to 20 years ago! It’s like £4 for a large chips now days.. it use to be about £1.20 and you don’t get much now for a large at least where I’m from 😅

Lemon isn’t strong enough, you can barely taste lemon compared to malt vinegar.
@@IamBATMAN2024 malt vinegar is delicious as well. But I soak my fish and chips in lemon and a pinch of flaky salt.

Loved this challenge, I’m from London in the UK so can appreciate this one. Fish, chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce the best! Vinegar on your chips yum. FYI shortbread is from Scotland 💕 You should try another London staple “Pie mash with liquor (parsley sauce) and jellied eels”
