    ’ve just got into crafting and bought my own cricut joy. I’ve watch quite a few RUclipsrs and found it quite frustrating when they skip over steps and information because they assume you know what you’re doing.
    Your video was amazing! So informative, I literally found this video so interesting, informative and I really understood what you was doing and why. I feel as a complete newbie I could do this myself now.
    You’ve gained a new follower - thanks!!

    Awesome..You taught me alot today...the first video I watched...how to change individual letters to different colors...love that!! And the card...the heart telephone....I need to make that for my sister in law...who lost her husband (my brother) 3 mo. ago so she is so lonely...I try to make cards to send her and this one is perfect for her...so thank you for that! and now I learned that you can use contour to take out images to make your image smaller to use on the Joy by making it in pieces instead of one solid image...I always try to slice things and it takes me forever...so this seems so much easier and faster. I have to tell you I really do enjoy your videos..your tutorials are always so informative and you explain things so well..so thank you so much! Keep up the good work!!

    You did a great job with the Infusible Ink! I love working with Infusible Ink. I’ve done t-shirts, baby bodysuits, and totes. I am also a “PINK” person. I think that I have all of the ink colors in different shades of pink. I have other colors as well, but I tend to gravitate towards the pink. They’re just so beautiful! I'm a new cricut joy beginner. This tutorial was perfect. I do have a question though. I have a new grandson coming up on the age of 3 months and want to make him a onesie, that reads, Cutest Pumpkin in the Patch. I do not have an easy press, can I use an iron as long as I lift up and not slide it?

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  3 года назад +8

      That onesie idea sounds lovely! It is not recommended that you use an iron and Cricut recommends the EasyPress2 for Infusible Ink for the best results. Infusible Ink should only be pressed one time to get an even and successful press, so having a larger heat place that can get the exact temperature requirement is recommended. Hope this helps!

  • @colors4u682
    @colors4u682 4 года назад

    You are a true ‘pink’ person. I love it, too, and love ‘aqua’ as my second choice. I actually toggle between the two. You are an excellent teacher. I’m getting closer to using my Cricut Joy for the first time. I don’t have a Cricut Maker but have a Brother ScanNCut which I find so difficult to use. I have it set up for cutting clear acrylic for the background of my shopping palettes. Am afraid to change any of the settings so only use the ScanNCut for the backings. Had I known about the Cricut Maker, I would have chosen that one. I need to be able to cut backed fabric to go on my acrylic backings. Have you ever worked with Thermoweb press “n peel adhesive sheets...they are not heat ‘n peel. I need to adhere the fabric to the adhesive sheets and cut and wonder if cricutmaker would work. I had originally thought I could do it with the joy, but joy doesn’t cut fabric...I imagine fabric backed wouldn’t work either. Any thoughts on this. Thank you, Bethany.

    I just got a Cricut Joy for Christmas and I just love it! I haven’t tried any of the infusible ink or iron-on projects yet. You didn’t mention the material of the shirt. (Or maybe you did and I skipped through that part...oops!) Did I see somewhere that you can only use one of these methods on polyester only? Thank you in advance and thank you for your super helpful videos!! God bless!

      Yep, it's mentioned in the video! I also place a list of all the materials used in the description box below the video. :)

    What a great video! Love, love, love your enthusiasm and love how absolutely vibrant the infusible inks are. The inks wash beautifully as well. Truly believe you and this video were heaven sent Bethany. And, am going to do one of these for my daughter with the exact same verse to remind her that the Lord is always in control and hears our prayers. Her husband is now ill and far away from home. So thank you!♥
    PS - A situation came up that I'm wondering about with the Infusible ink on a 3rd shirt. Made a t-shirt with a verse and cross in the center. The (yellow) of the cross seemed a little washed out compared to the rest of the ink and was wondering if it would be possible to fill in just that area by directly coloring on the fabric, then covering and pressing as directed. Know it says to only press once so didn't do want to take the chance of ruining it completely since the cross is outlined in black and would have been tricky not to heat that part as well. Ultimately, it doesn't look horrible, but it is something that I might just try on a test swatch in case that ever happens in the future.♥

      Teresa Reid I am so glad you were inspired by this project! You’re so sweet! I agree, test it on one of the test swatches that come with the Infusible ink to make sure it works like you expect! That is a wonderful idea! I have yet to use the pens, so I hesitant giving advice just yet. But I love the idea of using those test swatches for this!

    Hi Beth my name is Wil and I'm some what new to circut first I would like to thank you for your informative videos you make simple and down to earth. My question is your logo pattern the pink introduction, did you make that type of pattern or are there some already made with the edges already cut? Again Thank you for your hard work

    What are the care instructions when using the infusible ink on t-shirts?

    I tired making this project but when I put in the same sizes as you did and then separated using contour, the faith was still too big for the Cricut Joy. (5.8 x 4.604)

    HI..2nd comment... I was just looking at the easy press 2 and it seems they come in sizes? Which would be the correct size for shirts? Thank you in advance, it is really appreciated for both questions

    • @Bethadilly
      @Bethadilly  3 года назад

      Yes, the EasyPress 2 comes in multiple sizes and it really depends on the size of shirt or projects you are making. I tend to use my 9x9 the most, but if you're making larger shirts with designs larger than that with Infusible Ink you may want to invest in the larger press since you should only press Infusible Ink one time. You may also want to check out the mini, as you can surprisingly use it for Infusible Ink and here is a video how! ruclips.net/video/Kbru8A0Zugs/видео.html
