Yeah that is strange. I was shot to death so many times in that part. It doesn't seem to be realism, they didn't give you a choice. I had to use smoke to stay alive

This mission was brilliant.
The instant hit of nostalgia as you round the mountain top; and find the ruins of the Mount Yamantau research base was amazing.
In fact, Echoes Of A Cold War could be symbolic too. Just imagine walking in the ruins on Cold War as a 20+ year-old; and visualise/imagine 10/12 year-old you walking past back in the original Black Ops.
You're just standing there, unseen by the young you. You really are an Echo from the Cold War.

I haven't played this but it looked like the AI's accuracy is really low in this mode.
I mean playing Veteran of any other COD, you stick your foot out and five guys snap to it and pick a toe to blow off.
Alotta his stuff was as polished as i expect from this dude but there was also just alotta times where it seemed like he shoulda been hit a few times before he got to cover
@@ethandonnelly1973 The AI have low accuracy but, loose real . . because, there is no way average human can flick a gun and shot head at the first bullet.
@@Surcradis Most games with high difficulty use a grace period system.
Or a "warning shot" where at max difficulty, they miss their first shot but WILL hit the second.
From what I see here, Realism has a much longer Grace period than the max difficulty of previous games. It's what's confusing me.
I mean Infinite warfare had a mode like this and it was pretty brutal against multiple enemies. They missed their initial shot but not the second, and if your helmet was broken and they hit your head you were dead.
I'm just confused by how lax it seems in this.

What gets me the most during stealth kills, specifically the kill where you shoot the enemy under the chin and he gurgles blood after the shot. Gives me chills.

This is in my opinion the best FPS mission of all time. Firstly you get play as Mason alongside with Woods who are my favourite characters. The gameplay is smooth and story is interesting. Furthermore the mission includes a sniper section, stealth, big shootout and some exploration all in one. Finally to top it all off there is some nostalgia with the numbers Easter egg and a lovely snowy atmosphere.
this is actually the best game play I've ever seen. it's like I'm watching a movie

Refreshing to see a nice gameplay by someone who knows what they're doing.
Bocw campaign was so underrated, it really brought back the run and gun style of bo1 and bo2. Game was never treated as it should've been and it was amazingly fun.
I mean game devs should hire StealthGamerBR to do their gameplay trailers, this guy has so much talent in making flawless and immersive playthroughs.
