Rachel, I love to watch your videos... while I’m crafting or if taking a “cuppa break”! I love how you ramble on and on... how you wing it... and how you can laugh at yourself! I believe that’s what we all need to do to stay sane! I am in the U.S. (craziness abounds), but tomorrow is our Presidential Inauguration Day, so we are ALL ready for a change.. and hopefully some sanity! I made tags with you one afternoon, then cut them up.... and just found a bag of napkins!!! So here I am!! Craft on, Stay well, keep posting!
It is 3:41 in the morning. I WILL Finish watching this video. 4th time beginning again. In case I've not told you, I'm so excited I got a fabric bundle, Rachel. Thank you, I must check again to see if you have another paper bundle yet. I find it so odd that every country around the world is in chaos.its troubling for sure. 2121 needs some Valium that's what I say! Oh Good Lord, those napkins are gorgeous. Love this project already and you are just placing your first piece of napkin down. Sweet Lord, what a devistating dream. That's why I'm up now. Neededto watch a video to stop the thoght. I was in prison !!! I'm relating it to having an appointment with my cardiologist appointment. I'm truly over seeing these doctors. On another note, I just had the shelving put up in my studio. Still more to do before I get the boxes unpacked. I had a girl come in last Sunday who was an incredible scam! After she left I honestly had an attack of anxiety. I did further research and she was in fact a house cleaner. Ugh. I'm so far away since we moved from Ikea to get clear storage containers. I need boxes for my fussy cut florals, tags, birds stamps et. I buy a glue from scotch- Amazon. Even the thinest paper or napkins do not wrinkle. Here is the link 5.00 us for a 2ack. www.amazon.com/3M-051141928586-Scotch-Wrinkle-Free-Pkg-27oz/dp/B0088RL2QI/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiAjKqABhDLARIsABbJrGl0ycuXiGM9RbFhyox0vH0mpKU2i-BPIKvBERDpM26ZweOIJF9U85caArueEALw_wcB&hvadid=409956789511&hvdev=t&hvlocphy=9012250&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=16999682180160783636&hvtargid=kwd-61471714116&hydadcr=24631_11410057&keywords=wrinkle+free+glue+stick&qid=1611306292&sr=8-3&tag=googhydr-20
I love to listen to you talk and watch you craft while i do something else-like making ephemra or stamping or sit here with my scissors and cut out small pictures and figurines, flowers and stuff-it feels nice :) I love the idea with the big sheet and book pages(have no old ones but many regular book pages-only innorwegian though-need to swap for some english and other languages too),and napkins-have a lot of napkins. That guy you were talking about that is rocking your parlament -he has to have mush for brains-this is the time to let the "waters" be calm.. Big hug from Norway
Yes, let’s craft! The world is coming unglued, but as long as I can stop by here and see some lovely ideas, I’m good with that! Thank you for the heads up on the napkins, and all the other good tips!
I have been having crazy dreams and irregular sleep patterns too. I just think it’s a sign of the uncertainty in our lives and it is all around the world. I love what you did today. Take care dear Rachel.
So inspired to make some of these. Hang in there, all over the world there are some very strange things going on. I too am having a very difficult time sleeping or eating. Thank God for crafting.
Sweet Rachel you will never bore me. Love your collage and nice flowers. Today we got a nice 25 cm of beautiful snow. Great day to craft and watch your videos.
They look just beautiful hon! Great idea. Hope things improve in Italy for you. I’m always grateful for being an Aussie and our relatively stable government. Stay safe! 😊❤️🇦🇺xxx
Great idea and pretty, pretty tags, Rachel! Like what's going on in your country, we also have a leader who hopefully will shuffle off out of the picture tomorrow. Feeling hopeful for the change in leadership! TFS the inspiration!
What a fun video. The tags are gorgeous! Thank you for filling us in on some Italian news. With so much happening here it’s hard to stay informed about the world right now. It is all so exhausting and I do feel more anxious than I used to. Crafting, cooking ,taking walks and watching your videos are all helpful. Thank you for your chitchat and sharing your creative ideas!
I feel like I'm living in a nightmare. This world needs JESUS! I'm getting my napkins & gonna use them with old book pages from your other challenge since I don't have tall vellum pieces. Stay sassy Rachel, we love you that way!!!! - Michell
Beautiful tags Rachel! I love to watch you collage and so exciting when you flip them over!! I haven't kept up with the news or our government much lately, it's not like they care about the citizens and it's definitely not equal treatment for all! Since I lost my sweet husband of 35 years last week all I watch is you and Gayle craft...it comforts me and so far no bad dreams 😊! Thank you for the videos...love & hugs!!
I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband, Tammy! You will be in my prayers, dear one! I’m glad Rachel and I can give you a bit of diversion. Take good care of yourself during this difficult time. 🙏❤️
We’ve had Brexit during the worst of this pandemic. We in the U.K. have the highest per capita death rate and it is, frankly, terrifying. Politicians use chaos to further their ends. You craft away Rachel, but we will definitely all be coming to visit you next year when you can teach us crafting in Italy ..... I can dream 🥰 I hide away as well crafting and reading, lots of reading, and just watching the sky and birds and look for signs of spring. Hugs
These tags are so gorgeous!! I don’t know if I could cut them face down. But that perfectly eliminates overthinking. I do that a lot. Thank you for this fab idea!
Loved how the tags came out. With regards to getting the glue off a brush if hardened depending on the glue if you soak the brush in warm water for a morning you may be able to wash it off and then be able to use your brush again.
I love to watch your channel. This is another great idea! I think the whole world is in crisis. Just keep crafting to keep from going crazy! It's the same in the US.
I like your technique of laying out your master board. An easy way to ease into it. Also, I didn’t know Cathie Holden lived in Petaluma. That’s only 1 1/2 hours away from me by freeway. A very easy straight drive up 101. WOW! That’s a good thing to know for taking classes. Thank you for all the info. Carol from California
Love love love this!! Thank God for Art!! Is a great diversion to all that the world is throwing at us!!! Hopefully, you aren’t getting smacked too badly.. You bring joy and laughter to us..not to mention beautiful art!!!!. Keep it going!!! ❤️😻
I’m pretty new to this sort of craft but absolutely loving it!! Such gorgeous colours from the napkins with the text underneath. Thank you for sharing.
So glad we can share some positive and constructive projects and find happiness in little things. Thank you for sharing and validating a lot of what we are all feeling. Hope all things settle down and we have peace around the world. 🤗💙
I Love these tags, they turned out so great. I love watching you create it helps me to de-stress in this crazy world. I am so thankful every day that I live in New Zealand where we are so looked after by our Government. Sending everyone big hugs around the world, take care.
Hi Rachel, you are such fun to listen to, when you nearly fell over I cracked up! The idea of book and napkin collaging was awesome so petty. I shall be making these tomorrow for sure. Loved this video, thank you so much. Love Lita xxx😘😘
I truly don’t understand why individuals in any government can’t get along. Their childish behavior makes it hard on everyone. The behavior in the US lately has made it hard to think about normal life...just can’t believe they actually did what they did. I will keep you in our prayers.
These tags look so fun and easy to make. Going to "give it a go" as you say. 👍🏼☺️ So sorry to hear about political problems in Italy. Not great here in USA either. I so agree that crafting is a good way to put aside all the craziness and sadness of the world right now. Tearing up paper and gluing it down to make something beautiful is good for the soul. ☺️☺️☺️
Thank you! I have a cupboard FULL of paper pads with the thicker 12x12 (that were donated to me when I lost everything and started over in life) and really can't find a use for them! They don't make great jj pages as they split even if you score them. I have sed them as pockets and outer signature holders and even tags but THESE are great!!! Thank you!
hi Rachel, I was stationed in Italy in the late 80s and married a carbinieri and stayed over for a few more years. In the time I was there we were on gov't #54 since WWII. 54 governments in 45 years. It was extraordinary to me. Going to Naples was like coming home at a very profound sense, but life in the states was much much easier and makes you appreciate what you have. A govt incrollata in a crise? Figurati.
I am glad I am not the only one who can’t remember who sends me what. I can never remember names. Great video Rachel. I am trying your challenge. Oh my the painting got me good. But it is a lot of fun.
Surprise collaging. Love it!!! These are so pretty and yummy as you said. ❤️❤️ Love all your chatting today. You seem so energetic in spite of your nightmare and lack of a good sleep. You were funny too when you sat on your hot water bottle and later almost did a face plant on the desk.😂🤣Not that I would want you to get hurt!! Let us know if sticking the glue in the fridge helped. See you tomorrow 💞🤗🇨🇦💕
Thanks do much for sharing this wonderful ideal. I am going to try this with my paper that I really have no idea what to do with and yes I'm going to give it a go thank you again
You absolutely crack me up!!! ❤️ I love everything you do! Scrapbooking with ME just completed your second week project...with paint. You paint such cute things on your pages. This is a new and fun project. You will remember who did it in the middle of the night probably! 😂🤣😅😀
My grocery store sells the Michel napkins. I go to the store and come home with napkins instead of food. Guess it's time for me to stop hoarding and try this. I loved the surprise too. Thank you Rachel.
I / you just made my day! I was able to purchase a fabric bundle. 2 years and I’ve never had the opportunity. Gone before you put these in your shop. I also order a pattern, but can’t find my laptop🙄 in the “way too many boxes” still needing to be unpacked since our move.
Several years ago, we had an ice storm. A rarity in Oklahoma, literally shut down the state down for about two weeks lol. However, I found that rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle will melt ice faster than anything, and keeps it from refreezing right away.
Hi Rachael, great tags, I may try these I’m thinking of a new journal for this summer. I understand how the stress can make you have bad dreams. The government in the US is in crisis and I see no end in sight. I will pray for all and start on my t shirt quilt next week! That should keep my brain too busy to worry. I hope.
I LOVE this! The dotted paper is wonderful. Your dream sounds awful. I'd have gotten up, too. I have crazy dreams. One of my favorites was about my husband. In the dream he took an avocado green kitchen stove (very popular color in the US in the 1970s) and mounted it upside down on the ceiling outside my daughter's bedroom door so the hood fan would give her a breeze in her bedroom. I was furious. The next morning I told my husband he was in trouble. He asked, "What did I do now?" He's always getting in trouble in my dreams! 🤣
I can’t watch criminal minds either there was an show where the girl had to walk bare foot on broken glass… oh my I have had that bad dream many times don’t know why. I guess it really bothered me that she was in so much pain.Thank you for sharing your talents 💕🙏🏼🌷
Such a beautiful assortment of tags...Wow! I've been stressed and having crazy nightmares here in the USA caused by our one crazy little man too! He has created so much civil unrest, it is frightening!
I hope it was ok to leave that long for glue sticks. I'll remove it if you want. This project is so wonderful. It's collaging , but not real thick. Easy to cut in to pockets even. Oh I need to see how low I am in straw paper. I watched Suzanna today, it was in my notes. I got an incredible viewing of the slow stich cottage themed square you made. She did such a great job of showing it. I adore how she gushes over the things she loves. She's real. Oh YES !!! This video is a keeper. I LOVE The using the napkins. 😥 No old ones here. I've ordered them from eBay. The ones that are $5.00 and their covers (to the ones selling them) consider are a mess. ( "Someone's trash my treasure") Sarah is truly very talented like her sister🤗. I enjoy seeing things she's up to.
Gorgeous tags :) I have super weird dreams, too. I like to hear about others. It is usually the crime/cop shows that give me bad and/or weird dreams, not the horror movies that I love watching.
Catching up on some old vids. Love this technique. I have a background stamp similar to your spotted pattern so planning on stamping a heap of tissue in different colours of archival ink.
Love these! Great use of good paper that just doesn't fit. I used to love to watch Survivor, don't watch as much TV as I used to but I do know a lot of contestants have been coming back to try again, I noticed it a few seasons ago, may be why you think you may have seen it before. TFS
Love these pieces!!! I have such a problem using my print outs!! WHY???? I know I can print them out again!!!! What is wrong with me? Ha Ha!! I just love them all,,,,,crazy!!! Thanks Rachel, great video as usual!
I love this idea as I have quite a few 12x12" scrapbooking pages that I just don't like. I covered some in gesso and then added napkins and printed journal pages then did the surprise cutting, but I love the idea of the book pages or as you suggested music pages. Will deffo have a go tomorrow I think...yours turned out really lovely
Praying for peace on earth. Crafting helps escape the scary reality these days. ❤️Gorgeous page you created!
Thank you so much!
I completely agree. Craft happy!
I adore when you rifle through your stuff and I get a peek every once in a while where I can say oh, I have that one napkin
I tried not to cry when you covered that beautiful Tim Holtz paper. 😭😳😉
Hahaha sorry but it's one that's too grungey for me. I didn't like it, lol

Craft on, Stay well, keep posting!
I watched it! That young lady's poem was incredible! So talented! Thank you so much!
Amanda Gorman’s poem, “The Hill We Climb” WAS really something special... she is going places... at Age 22!
@@leeanngrush9211 brought me to tears!

We’ve had Brexit during the worst of this pandemic. We in the U.K. have the highest per capita death rate and it is, frankly, terrifying. Politicians use chaos to further their ends.
Thank you so much 😊

It is crazy isn't it! They are like capricious children! We will persevere and survive!!! Thank you so much!
Trump certainly did not represent all Americans. He’s a nut case. Thank God 83,000,000 American citizens chose to vote him out of the presidency.
These tags look so fun and easy to make. Going to "give it a go" as you say. 👍🏼☺️ So sorry to hear about political problems in Italy. Not great here in USA either. My grocery store sells the Michel napkins. I go to the store and come home with napkins instead of food. Guess it's time for me to stop hoarding and try this. I loved the surprise too. Thank you Rachel.
So lucky! Thank you so much!
I / you just made my day! I was able to purchase a fabric bundle. 2 years and I’ve never had the opportunity. Gone before you put these in your shop. I also order a pattern, but can’t find my laptop🙄 in the “way too many boxes” still needing to be unpacked since our move.
Thank you so much!
Several years ago, we had an ice storm. A rarity in Oklahoma, literally shut down the state down for about two weeks lol. However, I found that rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle will melt ice faster than anything, and keeps it from refreezing right away.
Great I'll give that a try! Thank you so much!
I hope.
Thank you so much!
Oh my word that's such a funny dream!!! Thank you so much!
Love the beautiful tags. It was sure a delight when you turned them over to reveal the front.
Thank you so much!
Lovely, I enjoyed that. Thanks
Thank you so much!
I can’t watch criminal minds it really scares me. These tags are so pretty. Thanks for sharing 😍🌴
Thank you so much!
I can’t watch criminal minds either there was an show where the girl had to walk bare foot on broken glass… oh my I have had that bad dream many times don’t know why. I guess it really bothered me that she was in so much pain.Thank you for sharing your talents 💕🙏🏼🌷
Love your tags!
Don’t lose sleep. Say a prayer and give it to God. He’s going to be up all night anyways.💕
Thank you so much!
Such a beautiful assortment of tags...Wow!
I've been stressed and having crazy nightmares here in the USA caused by our one crazy little man too! He has created so much civil unrest, it is frightening!
I hope you are well! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
🥰 Love it!
Thank you! 🤗
Gorgeous tags :) I have super weird dreams, too. I like to hear about others. It is usually the crime/cop shows that give me bad and/or weird dreams, not the horror movies that I love watching.
Thank you so much!
Catching up on some old vids. Love this technique. I have a background stamp similar to your spotted pattern so planning on stamping a heap of tissue in different colours of archival ink.
Thank you so much!!
So pretty Rachel! I will have to give this a go for sure! You always inspire me, hugs, Barbie
Thank you so much!
Beautiful tags for a rainy day! Tfs x
Thank you so much!
Love these! Great use of good paper that just doesn't fit. I used to love to watch Survivor, don't watch as much TV as I used to but I do know a lot of contestants have been coming back to try again, I noticed it a few seasons ago, may be why you think you may have seen it before. TFS
Could be! Thank you so much!
Love these pieces!!! I have such a problem using my print outs!! WHY???? I know I can print them out again!!!! What is wrong with me? Ha Ha!! I just love them all,,,,,crazy!!! Thanks Rachel, great video as usual!
That's so funny! i do that sometimes too. Thank you so much!
So pretty.❤️
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!
Looking forward to giving this a try! Your tags are lovely. TFS
