When it saw me it swam towards me, probably because it was curious. When it realized I was a living thing it quickly disappeared. I hurried away because I didn't want to come in between this baby and its mother who I know is huge.

When I was younger, my dad brought me to a beautiful, pristine and untouched area in the woods to go fishing. I’ve been fishing probably over a thousand times, but this time was different. It was crystal clear, so I could perfectly see them swimming around and damming it up, and everything else they were doing in that water. I wish that moment could’ve lasted longer; I can’t say I’ve seen anything just like that since then. They are so special, and we aren’t good enough for them or any other wildlife. We’ve destroyed our planet, their planet. 😢

if you think about it, beavers have to communicate in total darkness in their den, so it isn't a surprise they're vocal. but it IS a surprise they dont' bite your finger off.
Damn I never knew that beavers looked so damn cute when they're young. As adults they look goofy with their buck teeth sticking out and their large tail. But as babies I just want to hug one!
Great to see the future King of Canada doing well. I know not everyone agrees with our customs, but please respect our culture. Timber comes from a long line of beaver royalty, the founding fathers of our beautiful nation. 🇨🇦 🦫 🍁
I love Northwest Trek in Tacoma Washington. it is been a great place for me to grow up with my uncle and Aunt we would go there and see all the deer and elk and other animals that they had I remember as a kid.
