So from what I'm understanding what they thought was paint spray was like some type of anesthetic someone else sprayed on him to help. Well it's good to know someone didn't spray him with spray paint to be cruel.
yes I have seen it used before. Chances of catching a wounded/scared animal are a lot less than applying the spray from a distance. It likely helped him hang on until his help arrived.
This really reminds me of the movie “red dog”, it’s about a boy who finds a puppy hurt and covered in blue paint and even calls him blue like they did in this vid ❤️

Cause its a setup, faked for views possibly? Maybe thats why the "paint/ink" washed off so easily? It was their puppy, and it always was, they didn't find anything.
@intriguing Woman I don't infer ownership by using the term "ours." The terms is meant to express a caretaker - if you will - relationship. We and animals are here together. And if you'd ask me, humans have that responsibility. Good intentions aside, we generally tend to generally fail at acknowledging and understanding it. At the end of the day, my dogs are mine as I am theirs. I care for them and they care for me. Pretty simple.

Aww, that's such a wonderful story! I think it was good of the shepherd to help the pup likely in the only way he could. But I'm very glad this couple stumbled upon Blue and were able to save his life!
What amazes me is that these poor animals show right upfront emotional connection despite their situation. Animals usually fear interaction with any unknown element. This little puppy didn't have a chance to know humans enough to trust them. But he trust them right away. That's what breaks my heart because I see how their vulnerability can be exploited by the kids.
My question is - what happened to the other dogs that were with them when they found 'Blue' they said a mother & her puppies that looked like him came out - so what happened to them - did they just forget about them.
Bless them for saving him and finding him a good home.❤️ So they found him up on a mountain? What about the mother and other puppies, had the whole family been abandoned? Wonder what happened to them.
So it's totally possible that they are livestock Guardian dogs and his brothers and sisters actually do have an owner and that's why they've all been sprayed with antiseptic. But the owner couldn't afford vet bills or whatever and since the dogs didn't have a collar these Travelers just figured they could take him. Well better to be taken away from his family and live. I hope the former owner sees this and is okay with it.
@Cease AndDesist not arguing that point. I just hope whoever gave him the antiseptic sees the video and is okay with it LOL you know humans have emotions about these things
@Cease AndDesist my point is that could have been an economic decision not an emotional one. In our plushie comparatively Rich Western societies we don't think about literally not having the money to do something or not being able to work hard enough to obtain the money to do something. It's really entitled of you to assume that they had the money and couldn't be bothered.

who ever that farmer was that sprayed him with antiseptic saved his life as well.
That blue spray is a very common antiseptic in that part of the world (Turkey). They use them for livestock and dogs. The color is to know the area you covered. Spray paint won’t wash out that easily. The person who sprayed the puppy was trying t o help him.
Although used as a medication, the blue color acted like a distress flare that alerted this couple. The farmer that sprayed the blue medication saved the puppy's life just as much as the couple and vet did. It was a team effort.
These people did the right thing by rescuing and rehoming Blue, but for me, myself and I, I just can't imagine living my life without any dogs in it 24/7.

Hey rosesweet 🌹 💐 that's a beautiful name
But who is to blame for that many dogs? It must the puppy mills in Turkey that keep churning them out. The public can only do so much.
Well, there is no option as extermination in Turkey, goverment owns all stray dogs by law and spray them as much as possible. I believe this is still a better solution than killing all stray dogs like many countries do.
They need a spay and neuter program. Most countries do, they are breeding on the streets due to human neglect.

Yes. They say that in the video. The veterinarian who treated the puppy said it is likely a blue antiseptic spray used by a farmer.

It was Blue's lucky day when this couple happened upon him. We need to be more like these people when it comes to our animals.

The puppy likely belonged to a shepherd, so he'd had human interaction. It's more survival of the fittest with working dogs like that, sad but true
Ugh they helped him even though they knew the weren’t gonna keep him, that is soooo sweet 🥲
@0000030331 no you
My question is - what happened to the other dogs that were with them when they found 'Blue' they said a mother & her puppies that looked like him came out - so what happened to them - did they just forget about them.
What happened to those puppies?
I was gonna comment this
Bless them for saving him and finding him a good home.❤️ So they found him up on a mountain? What about the mother and other puppies, had the whole family been abandoned? Wonder what happened to them.
I wondered the same thing!
