Thanks for the video, the L322 (2001-2012) Range Rovers share the same subframe as the X5, so this tool and process works just as well for those - I bought the identical tool hence finding this video

No more clunk? Glad you took my advice to do the rear subframe bushings when the trans other bushings or mounts didn't resolve your clunk.😊 Very common problem on all E53s.

JUST placed an order for some window regulator clips! Need them ASAP, I had bought a full VDO window regulator when it turns out it was this instead lol your channel is awesome. I’m a huge E46 guy, have had about 10 of them but having 3.0 X5 like yours has been…. Interesting lol still great cars, they just have there quirks. Deff going to buy this tool, I wanna refresh the truck since it’s easier to deal with these problems than a new cars cooling system/fuel system issues lmao

Nice job. I did this to my E53 without a tool, ended up to break 2ton jack and one 500-1000kg cargo cloth, and it took hours, even with the heating. I don't recommend to do this without a tool. I did put OEM style HD bushings made by Meyle, with 4y warranty, originals were there for 20y and 418tkm. I usually dislike aftermarket ones but these might be good because they seem soft enough and also bonus is this easy to install. That E53 looks amazing under the body. I am doing much rust off with mine as they salt roads on winter at here in Finland like a crazy.

Around a $600 cdn job, just for labor. I provided the mechanic Lemforder rubber subframe bushings, almost went with PSB poly bushings. I hope you share your thoughts on NVH after the install and if it squeaks as I was afraid of squeaking poly bushings.

Great you're back Chris. I was planning to send you a message about what's up. Me, I'm still waiting for a normal price for 6 index 12 injectors. But instead of going down in price they went up to $450 each, because of inflation they say at the dealership. Have a great weekend, Dutch regards, Nico.

Maybe a local junkyard, you could find a parts car to get injectors from? And I heard some shops offer cleaning on them, might save you a few bucks! Thanks for watching and leaving a comment Nico 🙂

@@TheBimmerBarn Hey Chris. No not possible, unfortunately. Sinds 2010 there are no junkyards where hole cars are parked. The owners have to disable the complete car and undo all liquids. The engines too, most of the time. And junkyards n54s are very rare in my region.

great video..... question... do you think this tool would work on an e39 subframe ( sedan) the bushings look very close to the same diameter? I know you have a e39 M5 Wagon so you have worked with both chasis. Curious to hear your thoughts
    thanks!

I posted a 3d printed request in the last video? (E39 phone slot replacement) I have a second request for you to 3d print. Not sure how big you can go? I want a 4" turbo inlet that holds a flat filter to fit behind a e36/e46 top mount.
