It has a good grip and even thought it has a weight of 400 grams it feels like a very smooth bushcraft knife in a brutal jacket. Don't forget to check out our excellent outdoor cooking skills. FYI the jimping on the back of the thumb ramp is for striking the fire steel. I love my Bark River knives.

What at beast og a knife. But are you getting obsessed with BRK? 😉 Agreed they are nice knives, but don´t linger to much look at other brands. As bushcrafters check out Adventure Sworn knifes. They are amazing. And in Lithuania they make amazing knvies at TRC. Good allrounders! Love your content, keep it coming. Hot tip: get som microphones. 😇
Hi! A beast it is!😁🤘 Haha yeah have to admit that we like Bark River a lot! Adventure Sworn looks perfect for bushcraft indeed. How is their o1 steel, do you know? LT wright is also nice! TRC looks very robust, specially the apocalypse.
Do you have experience with individual microphones? A good brand? We bought a couple but did not work. Quite expensive as well.

@@westcoastbushcrafters Sorry i can’t help you with the mics. Just notice some use them. For instance DBK.
Adventure Sworn has several steels. I got one in 3V and to in O1. The guy has done some testing of his steel. And in fact O1 scores very high. In my opinion «supersteels» are a bit overrated. Many cheaper and well proven knifesteels as O1 performs very well and not far behind. And they are supersimple to maintain sharpness and get VERY sharp.
I have one TRC Classic Freedom (M390), just bought it. Looks like a quality knife.
Not a bushcraft knife. Pretty sure.
