Given next year with the Oline..I hope Vols go in to TP and get solid players who are not splash players in the media or on paper and dominate the trenches while working in younger players
All i see from looking at winn/loss across nation is: SEC is more powerful as ussual but anyone in the SEC in top 50% of conf can beat anyone else on any given day. It all depends on who shows up to play.
If A&M beats Texas, does that not make Tennessee and UGA the highest ranked teams with a a four way tie at 2 losses in the SEC?...and tide goes to 15. And i love hiw they keep projecting Texas in the 2 spot. I mean....they are projections right? So why do we think a UGA Texas rematch seccg will net a different result? I hate em, but UGA will beb2
If Texas A&M beats Texas, you would have to look at it as a four-way tie. Texas, Tennessee, Georgia and Texas A&M would all have two conference losses. Head to heads, don’t matter and that’s scenario because they didn’t all play each other. They don’t all four share a common opponent so that’s out. The third tiebreaker is record against top teams in the conference, which is essentially just a more specific version of common opponent so that’s out. The fourth tie breaker would be what determines who ends up in Atlanta cumulative record of conference opponents. take the total win loss record in conference for every SEC opponent on your schedule and their winning percentage is the number that you want. Georgia would be at the top follow at Texas A&M, Texas, and then Tennessee. Georgia would play Texas A&M if they beat Texas.

Go Vols!!
It's MADNESS!!! GBO!!!
So what's the process for getting home game playoff tickets lol
Wow you dropped this 11 seconds ago
18:41 This reemphasizes why UT must beat Vanderbilt to have two tiebreakers over Alabama.
GBO 👍 gbo smash the thumbs up gbo
The transfer portal and NIL has created more parity in the sport and it's amazing. Beat Vandy and we're in easily.
The "Committee" will find a way to hold the Vols back, watch and see.
Zero chance.
