      Make sure it’s safe though, or get a structural engineers approval before you do something like this.. it can be really dangerous

    I'm not sure anyone noticed, but according to the text narrative he installed "lentils", incorrect spelling of "lintel"...in other words he filled the wall with beans! Hahaha. I'm sorry but that made me laugh for a good minute.

    Nice video! i am wondering since circular saw was used to cut the opening, how did you repair the overcuts in the corners? If there any way to create perfect corners without overcut? I have a circular saw too...and a jackhammer with flat chisel. thanks!

    • @politic17
      @politic17 4 года назад +1

      - You meant what's gonna support the wall when it is still not supported by the Lentils!
      - The freaking wall is not gonna collapse, concrete is not that easy to fall apart, besides concrete walls are put in a way that blocks are not aligned perfectly parallel to each other, they're put like a ladder, so each block is aligned with the middle of one below it or above it.
      PS: Yes, it depends, but in this case, it is fine, the wall is gonna be fine.
      The message is too fast for many, but more than enough for the wanted receivers.

    Wouldnt you need an angle iron on the top if it was a weight bearing wall?

    • @getAMCIytc
      @getAMCIytc  7 лет назад +1

      If the door opening had a joist bearing in the middle then yes. It all depends on many factors.
