In Bullet Train, Brad Pitt stars as Ladybug, an unlucky assassin determined to do his job peacefully after one too many gigs gone off the rails. Fun movie and you could tell all of the actors/actresses had fun!
It's extremely entertaining but the tone is very corny for the comedy sake so that's why critics don't rate it higher. If the same movies were made but with serious tone (like Christopher Nolan's Batman, or Kill Bill for example), it would have been rated way higher.
The studio made their decision and choose to please the audience over the critics

One of the best performance in Sanada’s movie.
His sward action is awesome and sophisticated. In his scene , he surpassed all other one’s actions.
I love him so much.
Ever since I saw this scene, I've been searching fruitlessly for the cane sword used by Sanada's The Elder in this scene. There are many came swords out there, but none I can find that have the sword come out the bottom like this one so that the sheath still has the handle to use as a hook in your left hand! Someone PLEASE make this movie replica!
Such a dream for a future, I managed to find a wooden cane with no sword but not too far in looks from the one shown
this movie had no business being as good as it was.
When I saw the trailers I thought it was going to be cheesy schlock, now I'm regretting not seeing it in theaters.
@@CWINDOWSsystem32 I must admit, it was a really intense theater experience. It was one of those "oh i'm not expecting much going into it" but then you get caught up in the conflict and by the end you feel like you've just been through a ridiculous catastrophic amazing disaster, and then you won't forget the movie ever again. Can 100% see this film being a future cult classic

This song sends chills down my spine as the elder draws his sword and starts fighting with this song playing in the background. Hiroyuki Sanada is the badass of this movie as he is Hanzo Hasashi in mortal kombat when he fights Bi Han at the beginning of the movie! TEST YOUR MIGHT! ROUND ONE FIGHT! FINAL ROUND! This movie was one of the movies that got me entertained after a long time. Perfect balance.. comedy, action, emotional...
Wished this sequence was longer. Just let Sanada loose. The music is perfect already.

My favorite thing about this whole scene because this is one of my favorite scenes of the movie is that this is where the plot get so nuts and extreme that it literally goes off the rails

Just realized his cane sword is different to most cane swords I’ve seen, where the hilt of the blade is actually on the bottom instead of being the handle of the cane

How someone can see this in their mind and then coordinate dozens of people to film, act, write, and edit etc etc, so that the end product comea to you and i looking like THIS will never cease to amaze me

This is definitely one of my favourite action movies from 2023. Sure Top Gun and Avatar exists but we need something crazy violent, funny and amazing as this movie amid all of the PG-13 and superhero movies

This movie deserved a better score. All the objects in this movie have a goal and I loved this. The action, the humors, the scenario, the only thing missing is I think they could make more scene with the White death and a better ending. But if they make movie like when Ladybug got shot twice my Lemon, I’m going to watch this movie immediately. Loved all the characters (not the Prince) but everyone else ❤
I wish they took a close up of White Death's face when got back on his feet. It would've added to the intensity of the scene.

Interestingly enough, they are not the Yakuza. It is hinted at earlier in the movie when Lemon is talking to the Subordinates and says “Unlike you, I am a professional, and wanted to make sure it wasn’t just some Yakuza punks”
