Yes, I'm glad that you enjoyed this home movie.
Multiculturalism definitely wasnt a thing back then, and didnt it look so glorious! 😍
I'm not sure that I would call London Glorious these days!
@@mackenzierough I agree its lost its authenticity, the architecture and history are amazing but without the people its just a shell of its former self, its just a zoo now or a tourist attraction.
I left school in 1963. Lots of memories here. The older buildings were still soot dirty.
Love your videos 🙂
Thanks you are very kind.
Just think, all those kids in the video will be in their late 60's or early 70's by now. Just like me. I was 5 in 1963.
I was 14.
I was 11 in 1963 and living in South Wales. My first visit was a school one as a teenager to see a René Magritte exhibition in the National Gallery or the Tate (can't remember).
The year the Beatles arrived big time
Yep this video proves beyond doubt that BBC an C4 are right we’ve always had a lot of Africans in Britain look at them all just the same as walking the streets today
🤣
Do you have a video of the Moroccan city of Safi?
No sorry.

@@mackenzierough We still have a craindustry Before Brexit the car industry in the Uk was the biggest its ever been in terms of %of GDP - way bigger than the 60s and 70s
@@timhandley7408 craindustry? I know nothing about the Crains!
@@mackenzierough We still had a lot of industry back then, sadly long gone much of it
@@terrym3837 Most of it sadly.
How sad that the London of this picture has changed into a muslim city. As usual the politicians cocked up didn't they? It will get even worse with Flip Flop and his loonies in charge.
